Flow Generation And Propagation From Headwater Wetlands To Downstream Waters, Leanne Marie Stepchinski
Flow Generation And Propagation From Headwater Wetlands To Downstream Waters, Leanne Marie Stepchinski
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
Headwater wetlands are connected to one another and to downstream waters by dynamic hydrologic flowpaths, functioning as integrated hydrologic networks at the watershed scale. Headwater wetlands perform a variety of hydrologic lag, sink, and source functions, including flow generation and propagation, thereby contributing to the natural flow regimes of downgradient waters. The functions of individual wetlands and their contributions to hydrologic connectivity and subsequently to the natural flow regime have been widely studied and are well understood. Comparatively, the functions and hydrologic connectivity within wetland complexes as a whole and their collective subsequent contributions to the natural flow regime of …
Secure Lightweight Cryptographic Hardware Constructions For Deeply Embedded Systems, Jasmin Kaur
Secure Lightweight Cryptographic Hardware Constructions For Deeply Embedded Systems, Jasmin Kaur
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
Lightweight cryptography plays a vital role in securing resource-constrained deeply-embedded systems such as implantable and wearable medical devices, smart fabrics, smart homes, radio frequency identification tags, sensor networks, and privacy-constrained usage models. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) initiated a standardization process for lightweight cryptography, a relatively-long multi-year effort, which eventually concluded in February 2023. Side-channel attacks (SCAs) exploit the vulnerabilities of a system by observing and analyzing side-channel information leakages. Fault analysis attacks are a type of active SCAs, where an intelligent adversary injects bit/byte faults into the implementation of a cryptographic cipher to recover the secret …

A Culturally Responsive And Sustaining Pre-School: Collaborative Approaches To Curriculum In An Underserved Florida Community, Dana R. Roberts
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
The early childhood education and childcare (ECE&C) sector in America “is a textbook example of a broken market” (Yellen, 2021) that operates as a “non-system” (Berlin, 2021). This manifests itself through the low-quality of its teaching cadre (Cassidy et al., 2019). This failure hits disadvantage families hardest (Chafouleas et al., 2016) - a reality that is particularly apparent in St. Petersburg, Florida’s Midtown neighborhoods where one out of every two children attending ECE programs are not meeting State school readiness standards (Florida OEL, 2020). In this study, I propose a culturally-responsive (Gay, 2018), culturally sustaining (Ladson-Billings, 2021c), and equity-based continuous …
