Levels Of Differentiation Of Self In Married Couples, Margaret Galantowicz
Levels Of Differentiation Of Self In Married Couples, Margaret Galantowicz
Theses
The construct of differentiation of self, a key concept in the family theory of Murray Bowen, is examined with the purpose of testing Bowen's hypothesis that married couples are differentiated to the same degree. The Differentiation of Self Scale was used with 45 recently married couples from St. Louis County ranging in age from 20 to 71. Results of this study demonstrate that there is no significant correlation between the wives' and husbands' scores.
A Quantitative Image Evaluation Study Of A Concurrent Photon Amplification Treated Emulsion, Konrad E. Kern
A Quantitative Image Evaluation Study Of A Concurrent Photon Amplification Treated Emulsion, Konrad E. Kern
Theses
A study was performed to evaluate the effect of concurrent photon amplification (CPA) on Kodak Tri-X Pan emulsion in regard to image quality. The study evaluated detective quantum efficiency (DQE), modulation transfer function (MTF), and information content (IC) as a function of exposure in a comparison between normal exposure and CPA. The results showed CPA to enhance image quality relative to normal exposure at very low exposure levels. As the exposure was increased, normally exposed images became comparable and then exceeded CPA exposures in image quality. The exposure level at which normal exposure became preferential was distinct with each image …

Business Valuations Relating To Corporate Liquidations, Joseph H. Wildt
Theses
This culminating project by Joseph H. Wildt, submitted in partial fulfillment of a Master of Arts degree at Lindenwood Colleges in January 1980, provides an in-depth exploration of business valuation principles specifically in the context of corporate liquidations. The study integrates historical, theoretical, and practical knowledge acquired through academic coursework to analyze valuation methodologies and their applications.
The project begins by tracing the evolution of valuation theory from ancient philosophy to modern economic thought, emphasizing how historical, social, and economic conditions have influenced current valuation practices. It explores foundational theories such as the classical, neoclassical, and institutional schools of thought …
