Sejak mutakhir ini telah berlaku satu perubahan dalam struktur komuniti pondok pesantren di Indonesia. Pondok Pesantren Gontor telah mengorak satu perubahan dengan menubuhkan koperasi pondok pesantren. Langkah ini dirintis oleh Pondok Pesantren Gontor bagi memastikan kelangsungan jangka hayat pondok pesantren berbanding pesantren-pesantren lain yang pupus akibat ketandusan dana. Permasalahan yang berlaku dalam pengurusan koperasi pondok pesantren adalah kerana pengabaian sebahagian prinsip asas koperasi seperti anggotanya yang tiada penglibatan ekonomi dan tiada kebebasan autonomi. Muslims read or recite the Qur‘an which is a source of guidance in all aspects of life. However, their recitation is sometimes without comprehension especially to those who do not understand Arabic language. To help reduce this comprehension problem, visualization is proposed based on the theory that the learning process involves the perception and the processing stages. In particular, the visualization helps to support the perception stage and is used as a strategy to solve the word recognition with meaning retrieval problem. This study examines the training teachers’ acquisition level of reading Arabic text. In this study, the acquisitional level is obtained based on two categories; the level of thinking while reading Arabic text and the level of comprehension of the reading text. It also analyses the correlation between the level of these two categories. The emergence of interest – free financial institutions especially in predominantly Muslim countries, has added a new dimension to economic models.
