The objectives of this thesis are to fill the gaps in the Nigerian constitution 1999 relating to Islamic Banking and Finance (IBF) Litigations, using the system as an inter-faith bridge in pluralist Nigeria as well as using Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to supplement the limited court system. The doctrinal methodology was the main method but some interviews were conducted to support it. The current doctorate study seeks to contribute to the concept of Islamic religiousness and its impact on academic achievement. The study sample consisted of 138 male and female students studying at the Academy of Islamic Studies at University of Malaya, Malaysia, during the academic year of 2014/2015. The researcher applied the inductive and descriptive-analytical approaches, using a survey (prepared by the researcher) as the study instrument. This study discusses the concept of rabbani human capital according to the Qur'an and analyses the rabbani human capital idea of Sa‘id Hawwa in the work of al-Asas fi al-Tafsir. The concept of human capital from Qur’anic perspective is expounded by examining the human capital component which consists of body and soul, while the spiritual features comprise of fitrah, ‘aql, qalb, ruh and nafs. This research was conducted to explore how al-Nawawi and al-Mubarakfuri interpreted mutasyabihat ahadith in the Sahih Muslim. The research was conducted through a comparison of the sharh methods used by al-Nawawi and al-Mubarakfuri. 29 mutasyabihat ahadith were identified. Out of these 29 texts, 14 were in the dhatiyyah category, 8 were in the actions category, and 7 were in the feelings category. There are a few things in common between al-Nawawi and al-Mubarakfuri‟s wasatiyyah methods. This research analyzes the hadith texts of the hajj (pilgrimage) to identify the hajj maqasid in the Sunnah perspective. Altogether, 1,947 hadith texts relating to hajj in the al-Sunan al-Sittah has been screened and takhrij analysis has been performed. It is found that there are 105 hadith texts that are related to the practice of hajj of the Prophet and maqasid pilgrimage. 98 of them are authentic hadith texts, and 7 are hasan hadith texts. Istilah fasilah merujuk kepada kalimah akhir di penghujung setiap ayat al-Qur'an yang berperanan dalam menjaga kesempurnaan makna dan susun atur ayat. Lantaran kepelbagaian rima yang terdapat pada fasilah, maka terdapat pihak yang mendakwa bahawa rima-rima tersebut adalah tidak secocok, rancu dan pemilihan perkataan juga tidak serasi. Kerancuan fasilah yang ditohmahkan tersebut membawa kepada dakwaan ayat-ayat al-Qur'an itu terpisah-pisah, tiada pertautan dan tidak membentuk kesatuan padu sebagai sebuah surah dan juga kitab. This research considers the practice of wa‘d in Islamic banking products in Malaysia and Bangladesh and compares between them. It discusses the Shari‘ah issues and other challenges in the practice of wa‘d. Finally, it determines the prospects of wa‘d-based products in both countries. It adopts a qualitative case study approach while choosing three Islamic banks in each country for case study. Along with library research and document analysis, it conducts interviews with Islamic banking practitioners and Shari‘ah scholars. It follows thematic and a comparative method to analyse the data. Ianya tumbuh berkembang di tengah-tengah masyarakat, diwujudkan oleh masyarakat dan ditujukan untuk masyarakat. Walau bagaimanapun masih ada yang beranggapan negatif mengenai pesantren bahawa ianya hanyalah institusi yang melahirkan para penggangur, dan belum mampu bertindak balas dengan masalah sosial dalam masyarakat.
