The objective of this research is to introduce a discourse analysis method found in Islamic writings. This research shows that knowledge in this field does not belong to the Western scholars only. The author has chosen a discourse analysis method that benefits a wider scope of audience and of better preference to study. Abdul Razak bin Abdul Kadir, Metodologi Pendidikan Tamadun Islam Peringkat Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): Suatu Kajian di Sekolah-Sekolah Menengah di Kuching, Sarawak, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. The purpose of this research is to find a suitable methodology for Islamic Civilization subject at STPM level. This subject is compulsory for all STPM candidates. Thus, a proper method of learning must be adapt from the findings.
