The study examined undergraduate students’ satisfaction with current awareness and orientation services in university libraries in Benue State. Readers’ advisory (RA) can be informally defined as match making between readers and books, with a librarian functioning as matchmaker. Published literature agrees that RA is an important professional practice when carried out by librarians; and that RA is important for increasing literacy, benefitting individual readers and also their communities. The literature describes new types of book clubs and displays that provide RA services for patrons in attractive, less direct ways than the standard RA interview. Modern information technology has led to significant changes in how libraries operate. This study examined how library services are provided in the age of the internet at Mountain Top University Library. It adopted a descriptive survey method, and 200 participants were chosen at random for the study. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from the sampled population. This study investigated the use of open educational resources (OER) among academics and students at the Local Government Training Institute in Tanzania (LGTI). The study was premised on the pragmatism paradigm and deployed a mixed-methods research approach. An explanatory sequential design was used. The sample size comprised 55 respondents from LGTI who filled out questionnaires. Five library staff and two ICT staff were purposefully selected for interviews. Quantitative data was analysed using SPSS version 16, while qualitative data was thematically analysed based on the themes that emerged from the interview. This paper presents a case for speculative fiction’s potential to uphold the feminist cause in our current global scenario of male violence. Young Adult (YA) and children’s speculative fiction around feminist themes should be included in high school libraries for pleasure for reading and forms of support to the current curriculum and to address contemporary social issues including patriarchy and less space for feminist agency. The primary goal of this study was to determine how 4th to 8th-grade students used social networking sites and how much they knew about various social networking sites. A questionnaire with open ended and closed questions was distributed to the students of targeted school of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dholpur, Rajasthan. A survey in the form of a random questionnaire was conducted to 160 students. Of them, 121 completed it; the other students were unable to do so but provided verbal responses.
