This study is undertaken to study the library websites/blogs created and maintained by the librarians of Government Degree Colleges in Telangana, their effectiveness in providing anticipated and on demand information to the students which help them in their learning and research needs. The study shows that optimum marketing of the libraries is done by these websites, providing academic e-resources as well as general information is disseminated to the users such as competitive exam related, career oriented guidance, television, music channel links, devotional and even resources/links for learning a language find a place in these websites.

This research explores the adoption and use of digital reference services in federal university libraries in northern Nigeria. The study employed a mixed-method approach using exploratory research design. Both questionnaires and interviews were used for the collection of relevant data. Twenty (20) questionnaires were administered, and all retrieved successfully (100%). Meanwhile, questionnaires were analyzed in a tabular form to demonstrate how each objective of the study was achieved whereas thematic analysis was used for the analysis of the interview. Introduction. Investigates cognitive and affective barriers caused by uncertainty that affect the information seeking and searching behaviour of first-year students registered at the Tshwane University of Technology, Polokwane campus. These students do not have a background of using academic information resources and systems. Kuhlthau’s Information Search Process (ISP) model and the four levels of information needs identified by Taylor guided this study. The current research paper explains how familiar and frequently students at College in Assam used electronic library resources. A descriptive survey method gathered information from 150 students via a questionnaire. Findings indicated a significant lack of awareness among students regarding electronic resources, with 61% of respondents expressing unawareness due to a lack of prior knowledge. Consequently, many students continued relying on traditional library systems for their research needs. Furthermore, only a small fraction (16%) of students knew about the existence of electronic library resources but rarely utilized them for academic purposes. The study aims to evaluate the research productivity of Indian researchers on artificial intelligence (AI) in the Library and information science (LIS) field. The study employed a bibliometric approach to analyze the yearly growth, prolific authors, organization, country, pattern of Authorship, keyword analysis, and most cited papers on AI in LIS. The researcher used the Web of Science database to retrieve literature related to Indian AI researchers in LIS between 1995 and 2023. The study investigated the perception and utilization of electronic databases by undergraduate students in universities in Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria. It adopted a descriptive survey design with a study population of 1,116 registered undergraduates-users of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) Library and Ritman University Library, out of which 224 undergraduates-users were sampled using the proportionate stratified sampling techniques. Change Management Effects On Library’S Personnel Performance In Kogi State College Of Education Ankpa Kogi State Nigeria, Ogbole Ibrahim

The purpose of this study is to examine the change management effect on Library’s Personnel Performance In Kogi State College Of Education ANKPA, kogi state .The population of the study was made up of 109 staff. The data was analysed using simple percentage, descriptive statistics, mean, standard deviation and correlation analysis was used to test the hypotheses. The findings revealed that there is a positive relationship between leadership change, communication and technological change on personel performance. The conclusion was that change management had significant and positive effect on the personnel performance of library personnel. Recommendation made include that, the change …
