However, these studies were conducted with samples drawn from individual schools or school districts. Purpose: The primary and secondary obesity prevention projects were developed through community-based participatory research with a local grass-roots organization and the local WIC program. Both programs focused on nutrition guidance to mothers and encouragement of more physical activity with less time devoted to screen viewing (television and computer). Purpose: On January 6, 2005, a freight train carrying three tanker cars of liquid chlorine was inadvertently switched onto an industrial spur in central Graniteville, South Carolina. The train then crashed into a parked locomotive and derailed. This caused one of the chlorine tankers to rupture and immediately release ~60 tons of chlorine. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe supervisors', nurses', and nurse assistants' perceptions of resident safety culture in Taiwan's long-term care facilities.
Methods: This one-year study is a cross-sectional survey adopting an island wide random sampling. The scale of resident safety culture-long-term care version (RSC-LTC) was distributed to a total of 306 participants in 30 long-term care facilities. Thirty-four supervisors, 136 nurses and 136 nursing assistants were surveyed.

Purpose: The purpose of Phase I of this qualitative longitudinal study was to describe the perceptions of new BSN graduates about what constitutes good work in nursing (GWN) as they entered their first professional positions compared to Phase II one-year after the initial employment was underway. Purpose: This study has dual, complementing purposes: first, a comprehensive literature review of reported gender, race, age and menopausal status variables in the treatment of hypertension in women, and second, an evaluation of hypertension treatment for best practices. These data were then compiled and utilized to propose a gender specific protocol for treatment of hypertension.
Method: A retrospective chart review of 100 women with the diagnosis of benign hypertension was performed in a large cardiovascular practice. Patient charts were reviewed to identify the antihypertensive medications currently in use, and the data were compared …
