Pediatricians, mental health professional, and methodologist need to know about the importance of resilience measurement testing to find an appropriate assessment.

Disaster-nursing skills based on OSCE are associated with the readiness for disaster management competency. Predictors of disaster-nursing skills based on OSCE include gender, nursing ladder, and previously received disaster training. This can be taken into considerations for future promoting nurses' disaster management competency and disaster nursing skills.

The nurse practitioner study found NPs working alone were 0.24 times as likely to report non-billable time when compared to NPs working in the large institution with over 30 personnel. In addition, primary care provider NPs spend more non-billable time than do non-primary care providers at a rate of 1.17.

This systematic review explores caregiver barriers to HPV vaccination in the African-American and Afro-Caribbean population in order to guide health promotion strategies to counteract existing obstacles to HPV vaccination, particularly in this population who is disproportionately affected by higher rates of HPV and HPV-associated cancers than most others.

This is the first trial to exam the impact of cognitive rehabilitation interventions in mild cognitive impairment community-dwelling elderly in Taiwan. We found that this intervention could improve the cognitive function, quality of life, self-efficacy and depressive mood among the participants. However, there is no impact on their physical function.

However, little is known about the interaction effects of such support and IPV on QOL in Thai women. Findings from this study can inform nursing interventions.

Providing responsive primary health care (PHC) to refugees is a pressing issue in New Zealand (NZ) and internationally. Evidence on best practice PHC for refugees is limited. We reviewed NZ refugee health literature/policies using a critical interpretive synthesis approach, examining refugees' integration, resettlement, access to and engagement with PHC.

Effects Of A Home-Based Breathing Training On Menopausal Symptoms Among Community Postmenopausal Women, Yuh-Kae Shyu

This is a prospective, triple-blinded and randomized controlled trial with a crossover design. Our results confirm that this four-week home-based breathing training assisted with biofeedback has a beneficial impact on menopausal symptoms, measured by the Greene Climacteric Scale, among community menopausal women in Taiwan.

The effectiveness of electronic messages provided to postpartum women for improving mood and decreasing parenting stress is being measured in a randomized controlled trial (RCT). Initial feasibility data demonstrates that participants respond positively to the nursing intervention without significant time burden on nurses. Preliminary outcomes and implications will be addressed.

Quantitative, descriptive research was conducted to determine why nurses in a regional hospital in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa, under-report workplace violence. Data was collected with a questionnaire and analysed with descriptive statistics. Several organisational-related, management-related, and nurse-related barriers were indicated as to why nurses under-report workplace violence.

This study examined physical activity, sitting time, and duration of sleep during pregnancy and explored their associations with cesarean delivery, birth complications, and low birthweight. Though physical activity and sedentary behavior were not related to pregnancy outcomes, yet many women had a sedentary lifestyle before and during pregnancy.

We conducted a survey to investigate the geriatric care competencies of nurses in the hospital. We found that nurse who have already received geriatric care continuous education have higher geriatric care competencies. We suggested that more geriatric care continuous education should be established and standardized in our nursing continuous education.

When and how to mobilize stroke patients in the early, hospital period remains controversial. We surveyed an interdisciplinary team of stroke providers about their perceptions of early mobilization after stroke. Results suggest uncertainty related to physiological issues such as orthostasis and the deep vein thrombosis (VTE).
