The Impact Of Agile Project Management On Productivity In It Projects, Kristin A. Seeton May 2022

The Impact Of Agile Project Management On Productivity In It Projects, Kristin A. Seeton

Doctoral Dissertations and Projects

Agile project management is considered an enabler for increased productivity over traditional project management frameworks because Agile helps the team remain focused and transparent, fostering collaboration, communication, and accountability. The methodology relies on self-organized and frequently geographically disbursed teams. This approach encourages creativity and innovation, increases the pace of development, enables flexibility in response to changing requirements, and promotes customer satisfaction. However, implementing Agile methodologies requires a philosophical change in management’s approach. Adapting to an Agile organization requires understanding the differences in methods and the impact of the changes on the working culture. The engagement of remote team members by …

Fire Prevention Education For Boys And Girls Who Misuse Fire: A Quasi-Experimental Mixed Methods Analysis Of Effective Intervention Programming, Matthew B. Ferdock

Doctoral Dissertations and Projects

A child referred for an assessment following fire misuse (e.g., setting a fire intentionally) triggers an intervention strategist who constructs a program that almost universally includes fire safety education (FSE). While FSE media tailored by age and grade is available from the U.S. Federal Government, most youth fire misuse intervention educational programming differentiates children by age. However, program designers rarely consider gender, racial differences, and socioeconomic factors during education design and delivery. Limited research demonstrates efficacious FSE. However, since almost no FSE accounts for differences beyond age, no empirical evidence exists examining its efficacy by demographic or socioeconomic differences. Using …

For many years, James, the brother of Jesus, was all but neglected when it came to biblical scholarship. Around four decades ago, there was a resurgence of serious inquiry about James. Since that time, a considerable amount of scholarly material has been published about him, including a possible connection between James and a first-century ossuary box that bears his name. But one aspect of James’s life has not enjoyed such widespread discussion, namely, his conversion. The reason his conversion has been ignored is because there is so little prominent information.
