Communication Embeddings And Router To Support Llm-Based Multi-Agent Systems
Communication Embeddings And Router To Support Llm-Based Multi-Agent Systems
Defensive Publications Series
Large language models (LLM) agents are capable of taking actions and performing useful tasks. Complex tasks need collaboration between multiple such agents to accomplish a goal. Existing multi-agent communication frameworks are deficient in supporting such collaboration since these frameworks fail to incorporate critical aspects that would enable effective interactions between agents. This disclosure describes an inter-agent communication framework to improve communication, decision making, and collaboration between LLM agents. In the framework, new embedding paradigms centered around communicative facets can be utilized. The embeddings can enhance communication efficacy and also serve as a foundation for training multi-agent systems to accomplish their …

Scoping Model For Prioritizing Automated Test Selection To Improve Software Quality, Mayuri Shinde
Defensive Publications Series
Software testing includes unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, represented visually in the form of a test pyramid. It is challenging to assess the overall quality of software post-testing, which can lead to inconsistencies in test coverage, inadequate identification of high-risk and/or high-priority sections of code, and difficulties in prioritization of tests. This disclosure describes a quality scoping model to select test cases for fast and cost-effective automated software testing. The model is focused on evaluating overall software quality by validating functional and non-functional measures by simultaneously considering coverage of tests connected to critical user/developer journeys, code functionality, and …

In a data center, clean media with no data on them can be reused while dirty media (with data stored thereon) is destroyed. The workflows for clean and dirty media are separate. However, if the presence of a dirty disk in a container marked for clean media does not trigger any automatic physical action and the intended recourse is for the container to be manually moved to a rejection area, it leaves open the possibility of human error in handling. This disclosure describes techniques to automatically sort clean media from dirty media such that clean media are safely shipped (reused), …

Motor Rear Side Sealing Against Coolant Ingress In The Resolver Space
Defensive Publications Series
A hollow-shaft rotor cooling system is often used for automotive traction motors. Although it has good cooling performance, there is a possibility of coolant leakage into the rotor space at the motor rear side that houses the resolver. One Piece Refrigerant Compressor Wheel Assembly
One Piece Refrigerant Compressor Wheel Assembly
Defensive Publications Series
Interstage sealing is a critical component of high-pressure refrigerant compressors that use radial impellers. Carbon seals and labyrinth seals used in the past were either prohibitively expensive or failed to provide adequate sealing performance. A proposed rotor design uses a single piece compressor wheel rotor with an integrated shaft, wheel, and a radial labyrinth seal that provides adequate sealing performance at a reasonable cost.

Separate Chroma Contexts For Eob, Cheng Chen, Jingning Han
Separate Chroma Contexts For Eob, Cheng Chen, Jingning Han
Defensive Publications Series
This paper describes using independent context models for encoding and decoding end of blocks (EOBs) in video compression. Conventional approaches treat the chroma U and V components with a shared context model, assuming similar statistical distributions. However, empirical evidence shows that the U and V chroma channels have distinct statistical properties, especially when cross-component coding tools are used or enabled. For instance, transform coefficients in the V channel tend to be more concentrated in the low-frequency region compared to the U channel. Therefore, using separate context models for the chroma U and V components enables the codec to adapt more …

Computationally Efficient Hdr Video Using A Packed Video Gain Map, Na
Defensive Publications Series
Gain map is a set of techniques that provide a consistent high dynamic range (HDR) appearance of visual content across devices based on an adaptation of the content to the capabilities of the display. When gain maps are applied to video, the reconstructed video frames require two decodes, one for the base frame and another for the gain-map frame, thereby doubling processing requirements. This disclosure describes techniques that reduce the number of decodes in gain-mapped video by scaling down the resolution of the gain-map frames and by packing them together into one frame. Gain map decodes that are conventionally performed …
