Current gateway-based metering is not capable of capturing secured traffic because the gateway sits in the middle of the server-client transaction. A current solution uses client-side metering for secured traffic and gateway-based metering for unsecured traffic. This current solution is becoming less practical with the ever-increasing use of encryption for Internet delivered traffic. To overcome the above-noted problems, and other problems, with metering Internet traffic, disclosed herein are systems and methods that enable such secured traffic to be metered at a router or gateway.

This disclosure relates to a dog bark response system that is capable of recognizing the bark of a specific dog and respond with a pre-recorded command in the voice of the dog’s owner. In certain embodiments, the owner would be notified of the barking event, as well as: identification of the dog, location of the dog, approximate loudness of the bark, barking start and end time and/or duration, or any combination thereof. Embodiments include the ability for the owner to directly respond with voice commands.

An authentication system generates a one time password (OTP) that is delivered to a user to authenticate a service representative’s request to access the user’s account. The system receives a request from the service representative to access the user’s account. The system generates the OTP and a summary of user’s account details requested for access by the service representative. Further, the system transmits the OTP and summary to the user. The system further authenticates the customer service’s request to access the user’s account based on the OTP and provides access of the requested account details to the service representative.

A modified alert triggering system modifies alerts associated with calendar events. The system identifies a user’s normal calendar hours. Further, the system determines that a calendar event is scheduled outside of user’s normal calendar hours.
