The British colonization of Burma in 1885 marked a turning point in Myanmar’s traditional society, particularly in changes of body techniques, shikho (prostration), and the practice of wearing or removing shoes in sacred spaces. While recent scholars have examined the changes in body techniques and spiritual cult, the relationship between body techniques and domestic spaces has remained underexplored. This study examines how architectural materiality and perceptual attributes influence human sensory and emotional experience through the theoretical frameworks of biophilia and technophilia. Focusing on two community malls in Bangkok—The Commons Thong Lo and Zone C of Marché Thong Lo—the research adopts a qualitative comparative case study approach, combining on-site observation, photographic documentation, and semi-structured interviews. This thesis investigates the impact of Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) and Climate Policy Uncertainty (CPU) on ESG momentum strategies in U.S. equity markets from 2011 to 2023. Momentum portfolios are constructed within high- and low-rated ESG pillar groups to assess how policy uncertainty influences their performance across different firm characteristics, including sectoral classification and geographic operations. Empirical analysis reveals that policy uncertainty, particularly through Forecast and News channels, significantly affects momentum returns, with the strongest effects concentrated among low ESG-rated and domestically focused firms. This study evaluates and compares the forecasting accuracy of ten Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) in the Thai market using comprehensive econometric and deep learning models, with Mean Absolute Error (MAE) as the primary performance metric. The research examines DCC-GARCH, CCC-GARCH, standard GARCH-type models and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks across both raw and processed data environments (from isolation forest and random forest). 0.1% Cannabidiol (CBD) was reported to be suitable as an alternative management for Recurrent Aphthous Ulcers (RAU) due to its analgesics and anti-inflammatory effects. This study aimed to examine 0.3 % CBD when compared to 0.1% CBD, 0.1% Triamcinolone Acetonide (TA) oral paste and pure oral paste in the treatment of RAU. Healthcare professionals, particularly dentists and physicians, are at high risk of stress and burnout due to long working hours, heavy workloads, clinical decision-making responsibilities, and the need for continuous knowledge updates. This study aimed to assess stress and burnout levels among Bhutanese dentists and physicians. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using online questionnaires distributed to 85 dentists and 325 physicians, with response rates of 87.7% and 52.6%, respectively. Stress was measured using the 14-item Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), and burnout was assessed with the 22-item Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). This study aimed to evaluate the influence of printing orientation and surface treatment on the surface roughness, shear bond strength (SBS), and flexural strength of three-dimensional (3D)-printed provisional resin materials. Four printing orientations (0°, 45°, 60°, and 90°) and four surface treatments (no treatment, airborne particle abrasion (APA), tetrahydrofuran (THF), and HC primer) were investigated. A total of 320 specimens were fabricated, post-processed, and tested according to ISO standards. Objectives: This study evaluated the effects of incorporating graphene oxide (GO) nanoparticles at different concentrations (0.1, 0.25, and 0.5 wt%) into resin-based pit and fissure sealants. While occlusal morphology has been suggested as a contributing factor, functional, behavioral, and postural elements may play a more prominent role. This study provides a comprehensive quantitative analysis of the disability wage gap and potential wage discrimination in Thailand. Utilizing data from the 2017 and 2022 Thailand Disability Surveys, this research employs the Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition technique to examine wage disparities between workers with and without physical or cognitive disabilities. The results reveal a substantial wage gap, with non-disabled workers, on average, earning approximately 50% more than persons with physical disabilities and more than twice as much as persons with cognitive disabilities. The purposes of this mixed methods study were to 1) examine the extent to which critical reading instruction is embedded in Thai upper-secondary classrooms, and 2) propose guidelines for designing EFL textbooks to promote critical reading using out-of-class English materials for upper-secondary students. This study investigates the effect of solvent choice on the oxidative cleavage of oleic acid using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as the oxidant, with a focus on improving the yields of nonanoic acid (NA) and azelaic acid (AA). Solvent selection was found to play a critical role due to polarity differences between the reactants and oxidants. tert-Butanol was unsuitable because of its low boiling point, leading to the evaluation of higher-boiling solvents including guaiacol, acetoin, ethyl lactate, and isobutyric acid. Guaiacol and acetoin exhibited undesirable chemical reactivity, while ethyl lactate resulted in low yields due to hydrogen bonding with intermediate species. …

The increasing integration of distributed generation raises short-circuit current levels, which lead to concerns about equipment overheating, insulation deterioration, and system stability issues. The Resistive Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (R-SCFCL) offers an effective solution by dynamically increasing circuit impedance during faults without affecting normal operation. However, its integration may alter the fault-clearing time of the protection system, which is crucial for arc-flash safety. Anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from large point sources remain central to Thailand’s climate challenge, and geological carbon capture and storage (CCS) is now included in national mitigation plans. However, Thailand still lacks a transparent way to compare candidate saline aquifers and petroleum basins in terms of storage performance, containment, and socio-economic conditions, while allowing for uneven data quality. As mental health support needs continue to rise in Thailand, access to professional care remains constrained. LLM-based chatbots present a scalable alternative, though most current systems are limited to single-turn, solution-focused interactions. This thesis introduces a Large Language Model-Based Framework for Mental Health Support Conversations in Thai, organizing dialogues around five fundamental mental health counseling stages: rapport building, problem identification, goal setting, working, and termination. Drawing from Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Hydrogen energy has attracted significant attention due to its cleanliness, efficiency, and sustainability. Gasification is considered one of the most promising thermochemical routes to convert coal into high-quality syngas, which can subsequently be utilized for hydrogen production. Mae-Moh lignite, a low-rank coal with low carbon content and high moisture and volatile matter, is selected as the feedstock for this study. This research aims to develop a comprehensive simulation model of a hydrogen production process, integrating gasification, water-gas shift (WGS), acid gas removal, and hydrogen purification using the software simulator. Among the numerous MOFs members, MIL-53 (Al) framework is one of the most interesting structures due to the breathing effect and has been widely investigated for hydrogen storage and water treatment. It is built up by the interconnection of infinite trans chains of corner-sharing AlO4(OH)2 octahedral by 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate ligands. MIL-53 crystallizes in a “wine rack” structure (Pnma, a = 17.129(2) Å, b = 6.628(1) Å, c = 12.182(1) Å, α = β = γ = 90°) with large internal pores held open by excess solvent and unreacted ligand in the as-synthesized state. Microplastic contamination is a growing concern, as microplastics have been found in brain tissue and can enter the body through consumption. The objective of this research is to develop a microfluidic device to monitor microplastic particles by using electrical impedance spectroscopy principles. The device operates based on a flow-through principle. The configuration of electrode consists of copper-based cylindrical electrode with diameter of 300 micrometer and a center-to-center spacing of 2000 micrometer. Long-term sedentary behavior, defined as extended periods of sitting or inactivity, increases the risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease, and other health problems. These risks are often underestimated due to low levels of physical activity. This study proposes the use of You Only Look Once (YOLO)–based pose estimation for dwell-time analysis to monitor sedentary behavior. We examined posture over an entire day to assess prolonged inactivity and encourage individuals to balance energy expenditure with available time—such as engaging in exercise in the early morning or evening according to recommended guidelines. Exploring The Lived Experience Of Moderate To Severe Premenstrual Symptoms In Women With Histories Of Emotional Maltreatment: A Thematic And Art-Based Inquiry, Hen Polat

Premenstrual Disorders (PMDs) profoundly impact women’s daily lives yet remain under-recognized and undertreated, despite evidence that most sufferers report histories of childhood trauma, particularly emotional maltreatment. This study had three objectives: to explore the lived experiences and meaning-making of women with PMDs and emotional maltreatment histories; to examine perceived connections between premenstrual distress and past trauma; and to evaluate the role of drawing as a research tool for accessing experiences difficult to verbalize. Fifteen women aged 24–43 from nine countries were recruited through online support groups and screened with the Premenstrual Symptoms Screening Tool (PSST), the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ-SF), …
