Climate change in Indonesia has resulted in a longer dry season. Furthermore, El Nino is one of the main factors causing drought in agricultural areas. The research aim is to study the water availability for agriculture in the Bompon sub-watershed, Magelang Regency, by identifying the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) impact related to climate variability and changes in extreme hydroclimatic events. Quantitative and qualitative research methods, including climate data analysis and interviews, were used. This research explored the abundance, morphology, and polymer composition of microplastics (MPs) in various environmental samples within the Samae San subdistrict involving surface soil nearby the dumping site, road dust soil, beach sand and sediment in the area with distinct land- based activities. Dumping site soil exhibited the highest concentration in items per kg of dry weight at 93,734.3, followed by road dust soil (573.0 ± 583.7), beach sand (99.8 ± 75.3), and sediment (83.1 ± 50.4). This study explores a method of waste classification using deep learning, specifically employing the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). This research involves the creation of a unique dataset, a hybrid of publicly accessible data and a newly compiled collection of images across 13 waste classes: paper, glass, wood, metal, clothes, PCB e-waste, non-PCB e-waste, PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PVC, and PS. Nanocellulose is considered as a sustainable and renewable nanomaterial due to its abundant availability, biodegradability and biocompatibility characteristics. The study demonstrates the synthesis of nanocellulose from defoliated leaves of the Tropical Almond (Terminalia catappa) plant, abundantly available residual plant biomass and its subsequent use in eliminating Cr(VI) from the water system. The study demonstrates the preparation of nanocellulose by chemical means, employing NaOH and H2SO4 as chemical agents. Steroid hormones, classified as endocrine-disrupting compounds (EDCs), pose significant environmental and health concerns due to their persistence and potential adverse effects. This study investigates the presence of estrone (E1) in hospital wastewater and the efficiency of E1 removal through a photocatalytic membrane reactor (PMR). Wastewater samples were collected from two hospitals with different wastewater treatment processes. While there has been a growing number of studies utilizing material flow analysis (MFA) to examine the flow of e-waste, there remains a lack of studies on industrial e-waste circularity in Taiwan. This study employs MFA to examine the annual generation of e-waste by Taiwanese industries, the domestic flow of this waste, the utilization of secondary materials recovered from e-waste, and the spatial distribution of e-waste and its secondary materials. Wastewater originating from the production of TNT explosives (red water) contains special hazardous substances that must be treated before discharging into the water environment. In this study, we applied both conventional Fenton and photo-Fenton (UV-Fenton) processes to treat COD and color in red water. In the Fenton process, the COD and color removal efficiencies were 75.5 and 92.4%, respectively, under optimal operating conditions of pH = 3, [Fe2+] = 0.3 g L-1, H2O2/Fe(Ⅱ) ratio = 10:1, reaction time = 120 min. In this work, blast furnace slag was converted to hydroxyapatite-zeolite (MS) through alkaline fusion and hydrothermal treatment, and then it was used to remove cadmium in solution by adsorption in batch mode. The process was accomplished under the influence of determining parameters, namely the contact time, mass of the adsorbent, stirring speed, pH of the medium, temperature of the solution, particle size of the slag, and initial concentration. This study investigated the effects of simulated microgravity, indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), and cow dung on Zea mays L. plants growing in soil contaminated with crude oil. Crude oil contamination affects plants negatively in morphology and physiology. For simulated microgravity exposure, IAA introduced and non-IAA introduced seeds of Zea mays L. were grown in a clinostat for 4days before taken to the nursery for planting. The biosorption of lead (Pb) ions on Alstonia scholaris fruit biomass was investigated in batch and column experiments in an aqueous solution, emphasising the possible binding mechanism of Pb ions on the fruit biomass. The adsorption process was found to be dependent on parameters like adsorbent dose, initial Pb ion concentration, contact time, and pH. No impact was found on Pb adsorption during competitive adsorption. The results suggested that the fruit biomass could remove more than 97% of Pb ions from the aqueous solution. This study aimed to determine the concentration of selected metals in 30 household floor dust samples collected from two cities in Peninsular Malaysia, namely Melaka and Butterworth. The samples were collected using nylon socks attached to a vacuum cleaner nozzle during January-February 2021. When consumed, the toxic heavy metals in chicken giblets pose a grave risk to humans. An inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) was used to measure the concentrations of metals (Al, Cd, Co, Cr, Ni, Mn, and Pb) in the liver, gizzard, and kidney of chickens from the Lokoja poultry market. Forests serve as carbon sink by storing and sequestrating carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Forest cover loss adversely affects communities by increasing risks to the shortage of carbon storage. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of forest fragmentation and assessment of forest cover changes impacts on carbon storage over Nan province during 1990 to 2019. Spatial and temporal patterns were explored using landscape metrics analysis. Global warming and rapid urban growth, compounded by the urban heat island (UHI) effect, are posing substantial challenges for urban populations and ecological well-being due to increased heat stress risks. This study aimed to analyze the spatiotemporal patterns of land surface temperature (LST), UHI, and potential heat stress risk areas (PHSRA) in two distinct cities, an inland city, Nakhon Ratchasima, and a coastal city, Si Racha, during the summer. Flooding remains a major environmental problem in many parts of the world including Nigeria, causing untold losses. This study modelled the flood susceptibility of Calabar Metropolis using frequency ratio and geographical information system (GIS). Direct field observation and key informant approaches were used to obtain 127 previous and current flood locations in the study area from which a database of historical flood occurrence was developed. Agriculture is vital to Sumbawa Regency's economy, with key activities such as rice cultivation, corn production, onion farming, and cattle rearing. This study applies artificial neural networks (ANN) to predict land cover changes, focusing on agricultural land expansion. Using land cover datasets from ESRI, digital elevation model, and topographical maps, we analyzed land cover changes from 2017 to 2023 and generated future projections for 2050 with the MOLUSCE plugin in qGIS. วิธีการสมมติเหตุการณ์ให้ประเมินมูลค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในพื้นที่ชุ่มนาบีง ละหาน จ.ชัยภูมิโดยการใช้คำถามแบบ Dichotomous choice ว่า "ท่านและครัวเรือนเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเงินเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมง (ปลาและสัตว์น้ำ)ในบึงละหานหรือไม่" สอบถามครัวเรือนตัวอย่างจำนวน 300 ครัวเรือนในพื้นที่ศึกษา 20 หมู่บ้าน ใน 4 ตำบล คือ ต.หนองบัวบาน ต.ละหาน ต.บ้านกอก และ ต.หนองบัวใหญ่ ในรัศมี 3 กิโลเมตรจาก บึงละหานโดยใช้ระดับราคาเริ่มแรกที่ถามแตกต่างกันเท่ากับ 50 100 300 และ 500 บาท/ครัวเรือน/ปี ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ร้อยละ 38.3 ของครัวเรือนตัวอย่างเป็นครัวเรือนอาชีพประมง ซึ่งมีรายได้ครัวเรือนมากกว่า ร้อยละ 50 มาจากการจับปลาและสัตว์น้ำในบึงละหาน ค่าเฉลี่ยและค่ามัธยฐานของจำนวนเงินที่ครัวเรือนเต็มใจจะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำบึงละหานเท่ากับ 417.16 และ 259.04 บาท/ครัวเรือน/ปี ตามลำดับ คิดเป็นมูลค่ารวมทั้งหมด 1,683,240.60 บาท/ปี ที่ครัวเรือนในพื้นที่ศึกษา 4,035 ครัวเรือน เต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการ อนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำบึงละหาน เทียบกับมูลค่าผลประโยชน์ที่ได้รับจากการจับปลาและสัตว์น้ำในบึง ละหานเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 20,349.2 บาท/ครัวเรือน/ปี หรือคิดเป็นมูลค่าผลประโยชน์ทั้งหมดที่ครัวเรือนในพื้นที่ศึกษา 4,035 ครัวเรือน ได้รับเท่ากับ 82,109,022 บาท/ปี ปัจจัยหลักซึ่งมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ที่กำหนดขนาดของมูลค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหาน คือ ที่ตั้งของครัวเรือน ความสำคัญของทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหานต่อครัวเรือน และแหล่งข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับการอนุรักษ์ปลาและสัตว์น้ำในบึงละหาน ผลการวิจัยสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อการวาง แผนการจัดการทรัพยากรประมงและทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอื่นๆในพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำบึงละหานเช่นการจัดเก็บค่าอาญาบัตรการทำประมงหรือภาษีท้องถิ่นจากการทำการประมงในบึงละหาน และการจัดสรรงบประมาณเพื่อการอนุรักษ์และจัดการ ทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหานให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด นอกจากนี้มูลค่าซึ่งครัวเรือนอาชีพประมงระบุว่ามีความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงในบึงละหานยังสะท้อนถึงความตระหนักและความต้องการของครัวเรือนที่จะอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมงได้อีกนัยหนึ่ง

ศึกษาดินที่มีปริมาณสารอินทรีย์คาร์บอน 4 ระดับเพื่อหาสัมประสิทธ์การดูดซับสารโพลีไซคลิกอะโรมาติกไฮโดรคาร์บอน (พีเอเอช) 9 ชนิดที่มีค่า log Kow ในช่วง 3.4-6.5 และที่ความเข้มข้น 4 ระดับ หาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่า log Koc กับค่า log Kow น้ำหนักโมเลกุล การละลายน้ำ ความดันไอ และค่าคงที่ของเฮนรีลอว์ และตรวจสอบการทำนายของแบบจำลอง ผลการศึกษาพบว่าค่า log Koc มีค่าใกล้เคียงกับค่า log Koc จากงานวิจัยอื่น และ มีค่าสูงขึ้นตามนำหนักโมเลกุลและค่า log Kow ที่มากขึ้น ค่า log Koc ที่แตกต่างกับงานวิจัยอื่น คาดว่ามาจากความแตกต่างของเงื่อนไขในการทดลอง อุณหภูมิทดลอง ขนาดอนุภาคดิน สารอินทรีย์แขวนลอย การย่อยสลายทางชีวภาพ และการย่อยสลายโดยแสง เป็นต้น ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างค่า log Koc กับ log Kow น้ำหนักโมเลกุล และค่าคงที่ของเฮนรีลอว์อยู่ในระดับดีมาก แสดงว่าคุณสมบัติของสารเหล่านี้สามารถใช้เป็นดัชนีชี้วัดได้ดี จากการทดสอบแบบจำลองโดยใช้สาร PAH อื่น ซึ่งมีค่า log Kow อยู่ในช่วง 3.4-6.5พบว่าค่า log Koc ที่คำนวณได้จากแบบจำลองความสัมพันธ์กับ log Kow ใกล้เคียง กับงานวิจัยอื่น เช่นเดียวกับสาร PCDD และ PCB พบว่า ค่า log Koc ที่ได้จากแบบจำลองความสัมพันธ์กับ log Kow ให้ค่าที่ดีเมื่อเทียบกับงานวิจัยอื่น แต่ไม่ดีนักเมื่อเทียบกับแบบจำลองอื่น แบบจำลองนี้จึงมีข้อจำกัดทั้งนี้อาจมาจาก ค่าการละลายในน้ำ/สารละลายและค่าความคันไอของสารมีหลายค่า

การมีสารคีเลตในน้ำเสียทำให้การกำจัดโลหะด้วยวิธีการตกตะกอนมีประสิทธิภาพลดลง เนื่องจากการเกิดสารประกอบเชิงซ้อนของโลหะกับสารคีเลต ซึ่งทำให้คุณสมบัติในการตกผลึกและการละลายน้ำของโลหะเปลี่ยนไปการวิจัยนี้ได้ท้าการศึกษาผลของสารคีเลตต่อการดูดซับตะกั่วจากสารละลายด้วยไคโตแซนแบบโครงร่างตาข่ายโดยการ ทดลองแบบแบตซ์และคอลัมน์ ผลการทดลองในแบตซ์พบว่า ความสามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่วด้วยไคโตแซนแบบโครงร่างตาข่ายสูงขึ้นเมื่อพีเอชสูงขึ้นในช่วงพีเอชที่ทำการศึกษา และการเพิ่มความเข้มข้นของสารละลายตะกั่วทำให้ปริมาณตะกั่วที่ถูกดูดซับต่อปริมาณไคโตแซนเพิ่มขึ้นตามไปด้วย สำหรับผลการศึกษาผลของสารคีเลต พบว่าความ สามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่วด้วยไคโตแซนแบบโครงร่างตาข่ายที่พีเอชสูงลดลงในขณะที่ความสามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่ว ที่พีเอชต่ำเพิ่มขึ้นเมื่อเดิมอีดีทีเอหรือเอ็นทีเอลงไปในน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ ส่วนการเดิมกรดทาทาริกลงไปน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ไม่มีผลต่อความสามารถในการดูดซับตะกั่วโดยไคโตแซนการทดลองแบบคอลัมน์พบว่าสามารถบำบัดน้ำเสียให้มีความ เข้มข้นต่ำกว่ามาตรฐานน้ำทิ้งได้ภายในปริมาตร 88.89 ปริมาตรเบด โดยมีประสิทธิภาพในการกำจัด 91.40%
