  1. To determine the status of Kentucky high school principals with reference to the size of the system in which they work, their professional training, and their experience.
  2. To determine the status of the Kentucky high school principals from the facts presented with reference to their duties and activities.
  3. To determine the status of Kentucky high school principals with reference to their earnings and to make a comparison with the earnings of the classroom teachers.

These weekly publications from ca. December 1940 to 1944 fell under the titles of Defense and Victory. Defense was the “Official weekly bulletin of the Office of Emergency Management.” Victory was the “Official weekly bulletin of the Office of War Information.” The publications were designed to provide information to the civilian population on war related topics concentrating on economic issues.
