Medical tourism is a growing global niche market all over the world. In this study, which intends to assess the status of "tourism-oncology," texts obtained longitudinally from digital and social media were analyzed for content. Tourism-oncology has evolved as an economic activity within the context of medical tourism in Turkey. This study seeks to validate previous reports by demonstrating a connection between broad consumer views of green brand equity and environmental awareness and positive green brand image perceptions of luxury tourism. The purpose of this study is to clarify the mediating role of green image and green awareness in the relationship between green brand equity and luxury hotel performance. The result of this article is to verify the positive relationships between green brand equity and its two drivers – green brand image, green awareness which help to achieve hotel performance for luxury brands.

Tourism took one of the hardest hits during COVID-19 pandemic, especially in Jordan and India, as they are tourism-dependent countries. Despite the restrictions that followed the pandemic, this study identifies the positive influence that this may have caused in enhancing local tourism. The study employed qualitative research methodology in which a sample of 30 interviews were conducted using convenience sampling technique in India and Jordan. International NGOs (INGOs) operate in insecure environments where they provide life-saving services to the world's neediest populations. This study examines the impact of organizational attributes and activities on INGO vulnerability to insurgent attacks in Afghanistan. The study operationalizes three organizational attributes: 1)sustainability, measured by the organization’s longevity; 2)perceived independence from the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), measured by whether the INGO operated in Afghanistan before or after September 11, 2001; and 3)religiosity coded as secular, faith-inspired, or faith-based. Methods and compositions for treating or preventing muscle wasting resulting from an underlying disease or disorder, such as cancer cachexia. A therapeutically effective amount of a ketogenic supplementâsuch as R,S 1,3 butanediol diacetoacetate, R,S 1,3-butanediol acetoacetate diester, derivatives thereof, or combinations thereofâis administered to a patient or subject in need. The ketogenic supplement may further include a medium chain triglyceride in combination with the ketone ester.

Unobserved heterogeneity is one of the main concerns for applied economists, particularly when modeling preference estimates for health and healthcare in the stated choice experiments. This thesis illustrates the current state-of-the-art in analyzing preference heterogeneity in health-related stated choice experiment studies and four empirical studies on modeling unobserved preference heterogeneity using some recent advancements in latent class models for controlling scale variation. For decades, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) have reported on the worldwide pervasiveness and increasing societal costs associated with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). A recent post on the WHO website cited recent scientific research (2022) indicating the magnitude of harmful effects attributed to ACEs, even classifying them as “violence against children.” Esaki and Larkin (2013) indicate that ACEs are prevalent among many social service professionals, including mental health clinicians.

Alzheimer's disease is treated using THC (alone, or in combination with melatonin) administered in an ultra-low dose amount sufficient to (i) reduce Aβ protein levels; (ii) reduce Aβ aggregation: (iii) maintain AβPP protein levels; (iv) enhance mitochondrial functioning; (v) decrease phosphorylation of GSK-3β protein; (vi) decrease GSK-3β protein levels; (vii) decrease phosphorylation of Tau protein; and/or (viii) maintain Tau protein levels, in said patient without severe psychological impairments and side effects associated with higher doses of THC.
