The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is a complex organization whose procedures and policies have a significant impact on the world economy. From its inception in 1944, the IMF has expanded from its original charter as an organization which promotes free trade and monetary exchanges to an institute that maintains a robust international economy through various facilities that assist in maintaining the liquidity necessary for a viable economy.

Poetry is spontaneous utterance. When a poet is presenting his/her poems, it is a movement that lives in its own existence; likewise, a poem lives as itself.
To constantly become his/her self, the poet seeks limits, surpasses them, then discovers and surpasses yet newer ones, much like storming the gates of hell to reveal that evil exists in the mind. Ormsby Macknight Mitchel And The Railroad: A Study Of The Significance Of Lines Of Communications In The Civil War, 1861-1862, Michael Robert Terry

This thesis analyzes a minor campaign of the American Civil War, but one which illustrates the importance of the railroad, as a line of communications, to strategy. In the Spring of 1862, the Union Army in the west concentrated at Pittsburg Landing, in Tennessee, preparatory to an advance south on Corinth, Mississippi. General Ormsby Macknight Mitchel, in command of the Third Division of the Army of the Ohio, was given the defensive duty of safeguarding the Federal left, which included Middle Tennessee, against any Confederate threat from Chattanooga. Instead, Mitchel advanced to and captured Huntsville, Alabama.

Literature relating to American Indian formal education reveals that throughout much of history, the majority culture has stressed assimilation in the educational process. Indian students have been encouraged to give up their values and embrace the values of majority culture members. However, for the majority of Indian people, the goals of assimilation have not been realized. Indians have retained unique cultural values.

An Agriculture-Based Finance Model For Indian Community Colleges, James E. Shanley

This paper presents a finance model for Indian community colleges which proposes that these colleges begin and operate agricultural operations which will generate revenue for the colleges. The paper proposes that the college working with the respective tribe use tribal agricultural resources to produce income which can then be used to meet tribal objectives in higher education. The model was reviewed by a panel with expertise in reservation and tribal community college development.
