Population genomic data are becoming an essential component of the best available science used by conservation professionals to make management decisions to preserve biodiversity in a rapidly changing world. The proliferation of high-throughput sequencing technologies has made generating genome scale data feasible for non-model organisms that are of conservation concern. In addition to applicability in conservation science, genomic data enable the exploration of basic questions related to species evolution. Mitigating unwanted vibrations is essential in the design of structural and mechanical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and long-term performance. This dissertation advances the Acoustic Black Hole (ABH) concept, passive vibration control strategy, by replacing geometric tapering with controlled material properties. Using Euler–Bernoulli beam theory, elastic modulus variation in polymer concrete (PC) enabled wave velocity reduction without compromising fatigue resistance. The high strength, excellent damping, and rheological properties of PC makes it ideal for 3D-printed ABH structures. This work examined bond performance between normal concrete properties, developed PC mixes with tailored rheological and mechanical properties, and evaluated their 3D-printability. A …

The need for an automatic fusion of heterogeneous, generally untrustworthy geospatial sources into spatial ontologies necessitates prioritization when conflicts arise or lower qualities emerge. Unfortunately, most existing literature does not offer systematic, evaluative, analytical criteria for determining the trustworthiness and polyhedral quality of such sources, which, in turn, causes quality deficiencies in spatial relations of the final product. Here we offer a methodology based on the Neutrosophic Hierarchical Analytic Process to derive the aforementioned prioritization including considerations such as geometric accuracy, existence and accessibility of metadata, frequency of updates, and topological correctness. This dissertation aimed to determine the classification of animal abuse within Ecuador by severity, context, and solution through the application of IndetermSoft and the statistical-neutrosophic C4.5 algorithm to classify the uncertainty associated with judicial and administrative efforts for animal protection for domestic dogs and cats. The approach was qualitative and documentary, analyzing judicial sentences, citizen complaints, and municipal ordinances within the three largest Ecuadorian cities of Quito, Guayaquil, and Cuenca to acquire the determination of classifications of animal abuse, subsequent sanctions, and follow-ups. This dissertation seeks to determine if criminal suspension—per Article 651.3 of National Criminal Code (COIP)—for domestic violence offenders in Ecuador actually reduces recidivism through effective rehabilitation. This study examines the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Dominican Republic SMEs through a PESTLE-neutrosophic analysis. PESTLE stands for Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal and Environmental factors. Neutrosophic is the Philosophy of Indeterminacy. Therefore, we focus on the factors relative to AI adoption in the Dominican Republic—specifiers to the benefits and drawbacks, as well as, the unknowns of operating with AI—with the intention of illuminating attention. This study presents a machine learning framework that combines Random Forest classification with neutrosophic logic to predict soil fertility from 16 physicochemical properties. This manuscript examines the routing of mobile prenatal clinics in Ecuador, focusing on maternal and infant health in vulnerable, hard-to-reach areas. This study expands upon neutrosophics by establishing a novel neutrosophic model for the evaluation of ventilatory capabilities of Peruvian league 1 soccer professionals in response to an urgent need for such scientific studies to accommodate uncertainty associated with generally physiological measurements. The union of neutrosophic statistics principles with spirometric results and cardiopulmonary exercise testing produces a neuto model that effectively operates at 93.2% accuracy measured by 3 factors—(1) identification of asymptomatic ventilatory deficiencies, (2) assessment of respiratory compensatory thresholds reached during play, (3) participant identification for ranking by neutrosophic determination of results and application of aggregation operators. Research aimed at determining the Ayni method Multi-Neutrosophic by which a successful blended learning experience enhances multicultural education respecting Ancestral Logic of the Waoranis to create a hybridization of Ancestral Logic and institutional and classroom learning to preserve their cultural identity.
