Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This paper focuses on a crucial issue in data analysis: the incorporation of neutrosophic theory into regression prediction to accurately characterize and depict uncertainty in the social innovation ecosystem. The study centers on the limitations of conventional regression methods in modeling intricate and uncertain events related to social innovation, a subject of growing importance in a dynamic global landscape. This paper aims to address the gap in the literature by utilizing neutrosophic theory to provide a more comprehensive and dynamic representation of innovation processes, which are characterized by indeterminacy and ambiguity. The methodology employed for this study involves including neutrosophic …

Enhancing The Codification Of Crimes Against Humanity: A Neutrosophic And Analytical Approach To International Legal Frameworks, Marcia Esther España Heredia, Jorge Washigton Soxo Andachi, Nemis García Arias, Karina Pérez Teruel
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
The present paper investigates the process of codifying crimes against humanity, with a specific focus on the difficulties encountered in achieving regulatory consistency and precision within international legal traditions. Notwithstanding the implementation of the Rome Statute and the endeavors of the International Law Commission (ILC), there are still deficiencies in the codification, namely in the areas of preventing and punishing these offenses. By employing the Neutrosophic Analytic Hierarchy Process (NAHP), Delphi method, and Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps (NCM), this study reveals key elements that impact the codification process. These elements include the necessity for a distinct convention and the sufficiency of …

Enhancing Judicial Impartiality In Ecuador: A Fuzzy Cognitive Map Approach Using Neutrosophic Logic And Fuzzification, Robert Alcides Falconi Herrera
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM) approach, with neutrosophic logic and fuzzification applied to assign weights to the relationships between key concepts. Through expert consensus, eight critical factors were identified: Judicial Independence, Transparency, Corruption, Judicial Training, Accountability, Access to Justice, Procedural Guarantees, and Supervision and Control. Centrality analysis revealed that Judicial Independence and Transparency are the most influential, while Judicial Training has the lowest impact. The use of neutrosophic logic and fuzzification allowed for a flexible and accurate representation of causal relationships, accounting for uncertainty within the system. The findings highlight the need for reforms focused on enhancing judicial independence and transparency, …

Working With Bilingual Populations: Clinical Practices Of Speech-Language Pathologists In New Mexico, Wylie L. Skillman
Working With Bilingual Populations: Clinical Practices Of Speech-Language Pathologists In New Mexico, Wylie L. Skillman
Speech and Hearing Sciences ETDs
New Mexico is uniquely positioned as a state that has more bilingual speakers than the United States on average, meaning that Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) here are more likely to work with bilingual speakers than elsewhere. Best practices for bilingual evaluation and treatment are taught in graduate education for SLPs but the extent to which they are known and utilized by school-based SLPs differs based on many factors.
As the body of research supporting culturally responsive bilingual assessment and intervention continue to grow, it is unknown how or if clinicians are using this knowledge to assess and treat students who …

Deep Learning Framework For Graph-Based Molecular Drug Discovery, Daniel Manu
Deep Learning Framework For Graph-Based Molecular Drug Discovery, Daniel Manu
Electrical and Computer Engineering ETDs
This dissertation proposes the GraphGANFed framework, which combines Graph Convolutional Networks (GCN), Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN), and Federated Learning (FL) to generate novel molecules while preserving data privacy. FL allows learning from distributed clients without sharing local datasets, GCN extracts molecular structural properties, and GAN generates new molecules retaining the learned properties. Extensive simulations on three benchmark datasets show GraphGANFed's effectiveness, producing molecules with high novelty (≈ 100) and diversity (> 0.9). Results indicate a trade-off among evaluation metrics, and the right dropout ratio avoids mode collapse. Additionally, Conditional GraphGANFed (cGraphGANFed) incorporates a critic network from Reinforcement Learning (RL) to …

On The Special Gamma Function Over The Complex Two-Fold Algebras, Nabil Khuder Salman
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
The concept of special functions plays an important role in mathematical analysis and physics as well. In this paper, we study some different types of the special Gamma function defined on the two-fold fuzzy complex field, where we combine the classical Gamma function with the two-fold fuzzy algebra defined on complex numbers. On the other hand, many elementary properties of this new special function will be determined in terms of theorems and proofs.

Neutrosophic Ranked Set Sampling Scheme For Estimating Population Mean: An Application To Demographic Data, Rajesh Singh, Anamika Kumari
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
The primary goal of this study is to address the limitations of classical statistics in handling am biguous or indeterminate data. The best alternative to classical and fuzzy statistics for handling such data uncertainty is neutrosophic statistics, which is a generalization of both. A generalization of classical statistics, neutrosophic statistics addresses hazy, ambiguous, and unclear information. To achieve this, this manuscript recommends the neutrosophic ranked set sampling approach. We have introduced neutrosophic estimators for estimating the mean of the finite population using auxiliary information under neutrosophic ranked set sampling to address the challenges of estimation of the population mean of …

The best way to deal with complicated life scenarios that accompany the decision-making process is to update previous concepts constantly. Therefore, researchers must constantly discover powerful mathematical tools that suit the accompanying circumstances. In this regard, we combine both soft set, neutrosophic set, and interval setting under Q-two-dimensional universal information to introduce a new hybrid innovative model called interval valued-Q-neutrosophic soft sets. The core goal of this model is to keep the features of previous models like soft sets, neutrosophic sets, and Q-Fuzzy sets in dealing with the lack of uncertainty and neutrality associated with real-life issues. This new approach …

In The traveling salesman problem (TSP) is an essential and the most popular conventional combinatorial optimization network problem in operations research, in which the TSP evaluates the shortest route or path in a network. In TSP, every node has been visited only once, excluding the starting node. In TSP, edge lengths are usually expressed to indicate journey time and expenses instead of distance from a location. The exact arc length can't be predicted because journey times and expenses vary depending on the amount of payload, climate, highway conditions, and so on. As a result, the Neutrosophic numbers introduce a new …

Information theory provides suitable tools for solving practical problems, particularly multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems under neutrosophic environments. Generally, a wide range of MCDM solution methods are constructed based on distance measures category. The defined distance measures for continuous neutrosophic numbers, especially its trapezoidal type, is very limited rather than discrete type. The main goals of this study is to come up with a way to add two new types of weighted distance measures based on meaningful surfaces: Euclidean and Hamming. To define these measures, all three components of the neutrosophic trapezoidal fuzzy number (truth, indeterminacy, and falsity membership functions) have …
