CONTEXT.—: Lower Anogenital Squamous Terminology (LAST) standardization recommended p16
OBJECTIVE.—: To describe the relationships of p16 IHC and other biomarkers associated with cervical cancer risk with biopsy diagnoses.
DESIGN.—: A statewide, stratified sample of cervical biopsies diagnosed by community pathologists (CPs), including 1512 CIN2, underwent a consensus, expert pathologist panel (EP) review (without p16 IHC results), p16 IHC interpretation by a third pathology group, and human papillomavirus (HPV) genotyping, results of which were grouped hierarchically according to cancer risk. Antecedent cytologic interpretations were also available.
RESULTS.—: Biopsies were more likely to test p16 IHC positive with increasing severity of CP …

Tourism development represents a key area for the economy. Its development depends largely on the ability to capture new sources of income. The city of Riobamba of Ecuador has the problem of not having a comfortable route that meets the current demands of tourists, which causes low levels of income. This research aims to develop a method for the analysis of the business plan through the Hierarchical Neutrosophics Analytical Process. The proposal is implemented in the Rioandes Company from which it is achieved as a result that the proposed plan represents a satisfactory alternative for its implementation.

An Integrative Neutrosophic Model Focused On Personality (Inmfp) For The Adequate Management Of The Level Of Work Stress, Roberto Aguilar Berrezueta, Edwin Marcelo Sandoval, Bolívar Villalta Jadán, Diego Palma Rivera
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
Stress is an inevitable way of adapting each individual to the challenges of the surrounding environment. When the adaptation is done in a negative way and produces physiological or psychological imbalances in the person, then stress is called distress. However, stress is not always harmful to the person, there is stress in situations of joy or happiness, which is known by eustress. In the work environment, distress can cause physical and mental health problems for workers and therefore damage to the dynamics of the job. This paper aims to propose an index of occupational stress measurement based on the Integrative …

ccuracy of laboratory testing used in the diagnosis and management of thrombotic and hemostatic disorders can be very troublesome. Hemostatic testing has many pitfalls that are common to all sections of the laboratory, as well as a number of issues unique to hemostasis testing that are not seen in other laboratory disciplines (1,2). All aspects of laboratory testing have issues associated with analytical and post-analytical variables but hemostasis has many more issues pertaining to the preanalytical aspects of sample procurement and processing. Another major complexity is in the actual measurement of the end-product (a fibrin clot) …

The study carried out at the Tajamar Health Center allows the evaluation of the educational strategies to be followed by the mothers of children aged from 2 to 5 years, leading to the definition of a correct nutrition pattern and its correlation with the value of anthropometry by applying the TOPSIS Neutrosophic method. A descriptive, qualitative, quantitative and field study was conducted. In order to determine the level of knowledge of the children's mothers, we used the survey as a technique; which allowed to identify the status of nutrition in which they are and whether the growth and development of …

A Neutrosophic Statistic Method To Predict Tax Time Series In Ecuador, Lilia Esther Valencia Cruzaty, Mariela Reyes Tomalá, Carlos Manuel Castillo Gallo
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
Prediction of tax collection behavior is an essential tool for social planning by the State of any country. The tax is the State’s mechanism for budget collection, which is necessary to accomplish public services that benefit the whole society. This paper firstly aims to propose a method of predicting time series where values can be given in form of intervals rather than numbers. This form permits to obtain more truthful results, but with a greater indeterminacy. Because statistical prediction methods are used, where data in form of intervals are included, we can classify this approach as a kind of Neutrosophic …

The care and conservation of the environment is currently a task to ensure human survival. Various are the negative environmental impacts to which the planet is subjected. Quantifying the adverse events that the planet faces constitutes an activity little addressed by science. The present investigation describes a solution to the problem posed from the development of a method for environmental evaluation. It uses a multicriteria approach and models its inference by means of Neutrosophics Cognitive Maps.

Human Papilloma Virus is a health problem for paying attention to. This is due to the consequences it can bring to infected peoples and the society. Thus, it is a privilege to have the vaccine that prevents children to get such disease. Particularly we propose in this paper to carry out a study of the approval level of the Human Papilloma Virus vaccine in the fiscal school "Bolívar" sited in Tulcán city, Ecuador. To achieve greater accuracy in this study it is applied the method of 2-tuples linguistic neutrosophic model, which is part of the Computing with Words. This tool …

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
A high incidence of patient readmission in a hospital is a public health problem to consider. This investigation aims to address this problem at the "Luis Gabriel Dávila" hospital in the Province of Carchi, Ecuador, in its emergency area, where readmission incidence is considered in a time span of 48 hours. For this end, Neutrosophic DEMATEL method was used as the technique that studies the cause-effect relationships to allow decision-making in the problems solution of this type. Neutrosophic DEMATEL includes the modeling of indeterminacy due to the lack of information, or contradictory, paradoxical or inconsistent information. This paper uses a …

In the world, natural medicine is increasingly appreciated as a complement to conventional medicine that treats diseases with industrially produced drugs. Natural medicine is cheaper, more accessible than the other one; it usually has fewer contraindications and also carries empirical and traditional knowledge. In Ecuador it is a very popular alternative for the population. “TIENS” Company produces natural medicines, which has been facing the difficulty that its sales are appreciably decreasing. That is why the company performs an analysis to increase the sale levels of produced medicines. To perform the evaluation of the alternatives, the neutrosophic AHP-SWOT method is used. …

Extracting And Standardizing Medical Examiner Data To Improve Health, Shamsi Daneshvari Berry, Heather J H Edgar
Pathology Research and Scholarship
Data from medical examiner offices are not commonly used in informatics but may contain information not in medical records. However, the vast majority of data is not standardized and is available only in large free text fields. We sought to extract information from the medical examiner database using Canary, a natural language processing tool. The text was then standardized to fit the selected normative answer list for each field. Multiple terminology and vocabulary standards from a variety of settings were utilized as data came from the medical examiner and interviews with next of kin. Thirty-seven percent of the metadata fields …
