The evaluation and selection of strategies for real estate tax collection using neutrosophic cognitive maps (NCM) represents an innovative approach in urban fiscal management. This method combines elements of neutrosophic theory with cognitive evaluation techniques, allowing public administrators and urban planners to analyze the effectiveness of various fiscal tactics in complex and variable environments. NCMs facilitate a more accurate evaluation by considering not only numerical data, but also subjective perceptions and opinions of the stakeholders involved, such as owners, developers, and residents. This comprehensive approach not only optimizes efficiency in tax collection, but also promotes greater transparency and legitimacy in …

This paper aims to analyze the effects of moderate intermittent exercise in institutionalized older adults and its relationship with blood pressure. It is an investigation where the impact of sporadic exercises on blood pressure values over time was evaluated. A total of 29 older adults were analyzed to whom moderate intermittent exercises were applied for 4 weeks, 3 times a week for 30 minutes each session, with 12 interventions. Because blood pressure is an indicator that changes over time during the course of the day and its measurement is not precise, we use single-valued neutrosophic sets as data instead of …

The study addresses the problem of evaluating the viability of complex industrial projects, specifically in the design of a chipboard plant. In the context where decision-making is loaded with uncertainty and multiple interdependent variables, it is critical to have methodologies that can capture this complexity. Despite advances in the feasibility assessment literature, a lack of approaches that effectively integrate indeterminacy and expert opinion in a quantifiable manner has been identified. This article seeks to fill that gap by proposing a method based on neutroAlgebra, combining neutrosophic 2-tuple linguistic models and the Prospector method. The methodology developed in the study allows …

Compliance is a concept that means that the organization conforms to the legal regulations in force in the country where it is located. This avoids additional expenses on the part of the company and economic losses due to non-compliance with the regulatory legal framework. In the case of the low-value process in public purchases in Ecuador, it is necessary to take this aspect into account, especially in the anti-corruption fight that is currently being carried out worldwide. To study the positive and negative factors that influence the application of compliance in Ecuadorian public purchases, we use the plithogenic SWOT analysis. …

Working With Bilingual Populations: Clinical Practices Of Speech-Language Pathologists In New Mexico, Wylie L. Skillman
Speech and Hearing Sciences ETDs
New Mexico is uniquely positioned as a state that has more bilingual speakers than the United States on average, meaning that Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) here are more likely to work with bilingual speakers than elsewhere. Best practices for bilingual evaluation and treatment are taught in graduate education for SLPs but the extent to which they are known and utilized by school-based SLPs differs based on many factors.
As the body of research supporting culturally responsive bilingual assessment and intervention continue to grow, it is unknown how or if clinicians are using this knowledge to assess and treat students who …

Determining The Cerebellum’S Functional Role In Adolescent Reward Processing, Teagan Mullins
Psychology ETDs
Cerebellar contributions to adolescent reward processing have not been explored in prior research, despite the fact that both reward processing and the cerebellum are undergoing significant maturation during this time. Reward processing in the cerebellum has been found in both adults and in animal models. However, given both maturational changes and a variety of reward related psychopathology that emerges during adolescence, reward processing in the cerebellum during adolescence may not mirror that of the cerebellum during adulthood and may shift over adolescence and be linked to psychopathology. This dissertation reviews the existing literature on cerebellar reward in adolescence (chapter one). …

Autism Spectrum Disorder And Menstruation Research Guide, Emily Roberts, Keely Lundy
Projects
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), which is often called autism, can make it hard for people to communicate and interact with others and can cause repetitive behaviors and interests1. Girls, women, and other people who were assigned female at birth are commonly misdiagnosed, not diagnosed, or may be diagnosed later in life with autism because healthcare providers don’t know enough about how they show symptoms or how they “mask”, or hide their differences2 3 4 5. Because of this, many autistic people’s needs are unmet and unexamined.
One important need that isn't always met for autistic people who have periods, also …

With the increasing strain on the health system, there is a growing need for automatic medical image diagnosis. Emerging technologies for medical diagnosis can help to achieve the goals of sustainable development. However, analyzing medical images can be challenging due to uncertain data, ambiguity, and impreciseness. To address this issue, we have developed a novel BoneNet-NS technique to classify fractures in X-ray bone images. The proposed approach is based on the power of deep learning (DL) and neutrosophic set (NS) to deal with aleatoric uncertainty. Moreover, we present two frameworks for integrating NS with DL models: BoneNet-NS1 and BoneNet-NS2. We …

Decision-making plays a crucial role in achieving success across various scenarios, especially when confronted with complex issues inundated with abundant facts and information. Employing multi criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods and techniques becomes particularly indispensable in tackling such formidable challenges. This study introduces novel neutrosophic SWGM and SWAM accuracy functions, which enhance traditional aggregation operators. Furthermore, it introduces the CODAS technique tailored for addressing Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making problems utilizing the newly defined operators. To exemplify the proposed methodology, a supplier selection problem is examined.

The best way to deal with complicated life scenarios that accompany the decision-making process is to update previous concepts constantly. Therefore, researchers must constantly discover powerful mathematical tools that suit the accompanying circumstances. In this regard, we combine both soft set, neutrosophic set, and interval setting under Q-two-dimensional universal information to introduce a new hybrid innovative model called interval valued-Q-neutrosophic soft sets. The core goal of this model is to keep the features of previous models like soft sets, neutrosophic sets, and Q-Fuzzy sets in dealing with the lack of uncertainty and neutrality associated with real-life issues. This new approach …

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
In this paper, we have presented rough statistical convergence of sequence on neutrosophic normed spaces as an important convergence criterion. As neutrosophication can handle partially dependent compo nents, partially independent components and even independent components involved in real-world problems. By examining some properties related to rough convergence in these spaces we provide some useful functional tools in the situations of inconsistency and indeterminacy in the real world. Further, we have established some equivalent conditions on the set of statistical limit points as well as on the set of cluster points in these spaces for rough statistically convergent sequences.
