All UNH Survey Center Polls
Four in five New Hampshire adults say they are fully or partially vaccinated against COVID-19, but this figure has stalled in recent months. Almost no unvaccinated adults plan to get vaccinated. Geostationary satellite measurements of aerosol optical depth (AOD) over East Asia from the Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) and Advanced Himawari Imager (AHI) instruments can augment surface monitoring of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) air quality, but this requires better understanding of the AOD–PM2.5 relationship. Here we use the GEOS-Chem chemical transport model to analyze the critical variables determining the AOD–PM2.5 relationship over East Asia by simulation of observations from satellite, aircraft, and ground-based datasets. This includes the detailed vertical aerosol profiling over South Korea from the KORUS-AQ aircraft campaign (May–June 2016) with concurrent ground-based PM2.5 composition, PM10, and AERONET AOD …

Sustainable food systems education (SFSE) is rapidly advancing to meet the need for developing future professionals who are capable of effective decision-making regarding agriculture, food, nutrition, consumption, and waste in a complex world. Equity, particularly racial equity and its intersectional links with other inequities, should play a central role in efforts to advance SFSE given the harmful social and environmental externalities of food systems and ongoing oppression and systemic inequities such as lack of food access faced by racialized and/or marginalized populations. However, few institutional and intra-disciplinary resources exist on how to engage students in discussion about equity and related …

Sununu Approval Continues To Drop; Record Low Feel Nh Headed In Right Direction 10/22/2021, Unh Survey Center
All UNH Survey Center Polls
Approval of Governor Chris Sununu's job performance continues to fall, nearing a new low point for his administration, although a slim majority continue to approve of his job as governor. Only four in ten New Hampshire residents feel the state is headed in the right direction, a record low, driven by steep declines among Independents and Democrats. Granite Staters most frequently mention the COVID-19 pandemic and jobs or the economy as the most important problem facing the state.
