The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that students have equitable access to class materials, facilities, and learning. The office of Student Disability Services (SDS) coordinates student requests for formal accommodations. This session is designed to help equip instructors with basic knowledge of the ADA’s requirements, with particular focus on how those requirements impact what teachers should (and should not) do in their classrooms and with students.
