Lack Of Patient-Centered Care Relative To Evidence-Based Practice In Clinical Diagnosis And Treatment Of Endometriosis In The U.S.: A Review, Piper E. Scoskie

This scoping review examines the impact of combining Patient-Centered Care (PCC) and Evidence-Based Care (EBC) on clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction in the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis in the United States. In particular, the review aims to (1) examine the body of research from the United States to learn more about the connection between PCC and EBC and their collective impact on patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes in the treatment of endometriosis; (2) identify the gaps in existing research and practice, specifically regarding PCC procedures, varying patient populations, and longitudinal investigations; and (3) provide recommendation for future research and …

The European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) is an international regulatory document setting the standards for the quality control of medicinal products. It is elaborated by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), a body of the Council of Europe, headquartered in Strasbourg, France. It is mandatory in 39 European countries and the European Union. The Ph. Eur. establishes quality specifications for active ingredients, excipients, dosage forms, and finished products. In relation to herbal medicinal products, the upcoming 12th Edition (effective January 2026) includes: 25 general methods in pharmacognosy, 6 general monographs, 2 information chapters, and 392 individual …

The Mississippi Legislature chartered the University of Mississippi as the state’s first venue for public higher education in 1844. After construction, the doors to the institution opened to students in Oxford on 8 November 1848. The first two leaders of the university (George Frederick Holmes 1848-1849 and Augustus Baldwin Longstreet 1849-1856) were called “president” until the title changed to “chancellor” in 1858 at the suggestion of then President F.A.P. Barnard
