This research intends to show that Islam has maintained the rights of the children at the time of war religiously, mentally, and physically. The study depended in collecting the information on conducting interviews with MPs and officials in the Palestinian ministries, an official from UNRWA, administrators, school and camps headmasters, eyewitnesses, and children. In order to achieve the desired results the study relied on the descriptive, historical, and analytical method, with the help of the scientific research instruments. This article aims to elaborate the methodology of Fiqh Hadari that established by Dr Yusuf al-Qaradawi, its background, the theoretical development and its application. The study reveals that the methodology of Fiqh Hadari is an appropriate scientific approach for the purpose particularly in identifying the causes and main objectives of Islamic rulings.

This article examines some approaches needed on problems face by Muslims in the context of Islamicjerusalem today. In discussing the related issues, the author tries to present historical facts, the situation of the region and Quranic perspectives on justice as an element to achieve global peace. Apart from that, this article reflects on the future of this disputed region. The author come with the hypothesis "there will be no peace and stability without justice."

This study attempts to formalize a theory for Qualification based on modern psychology science. Such theory resolves many of juristic disagreements and modern issues related to Qualification. This requires researching the gap between old transcripts on one hand and modern studies in Psychology and Islamic jurisprudence on the other hand. The study adopts an analytical inductive methodology through the analysis of juristic books, psychology literature, and uses deductive reasoning in stating logical findings. The study aims to analyze the quality of Hadith in the books of neo-sufism, especially the Malay version. Syeikh 'Abdul Samad al-Falimbani's Hidayah al-Salikin which is deeply influenced by the tasawwuf of al-Ghazali is analyzed thoroughly in terms of its history including of the author himself, approach, content as well as its language. From the analysis,the quality of the Hadiths in the book are established.

At present, Islamic banking in Malaysia has become very significant in catering to the needs of Muslims in getting Sharl'ah-compliant financing. Tajuk disertasi ini ialah "Proses Mencari 'Illah Dalam Menentukan Hukum: Kajian Teori Berasaskan Usul Syafi'i. Berpunca daripada pandangan yang mengatakan bahawa qiyas ('Illah) menurut Imam Syafi'i adalah sempit dan berasaskan tekstual. Penelitian yang dilakukan, temyata 'Illah pada pandangan Imam Syafi'I memiliki jangkauan yang luas dan anjal. Keluasan 'il/ah di sisi Imam Syafi'I ini dapat dilihat menerusi istilah ma 'nii yang beliau tulis dalam kitab al-Risiilah. This study examines the level of job satisfaction among the lecturers of Academy of Islamic Studies and Faculty of Language and Linguistics, identifies the motivator, hygiene and demographic factors that influence the level of respondents' job satisfaction, their plans, preparation and reasons in choosing this profession as their career, the potential and reasons to turnover intention, the actions to be taken by them given their level of job satisfaction and their suggestions to remedy. It's found that the overall job stafisfaction in both faculties is high i.e.77.3% at Academy of Islamic Studies and 78.8% at Faculty of Language and Linguistics.

This study examines career of the graduates of bachelor of Shariah, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya fro 1996 - 2002 by using a questionnaire to collect the data. A total of 190 respondent who are served by a questionnaire are analysed by using parametric test and non parametric test. The finding shows that majority graduates (89%) are working, whereby 7.9% of the graduates opting tofurther their studies and the rest of the respondent (3.2%) remain unemployed during one year after graduation. The issue of teaching languages for specific purposes is not new. It has been a topic of discussion years ago particularly in English teaching but not in Arabic teaching. This article looks into the possibility of exploring Arabic teaching for specific purposes at higher learning institutions with special reference to Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. Two skills, reading and writing, are discussed. The authors use the phrase “Satu Pandangan Awal” (A preliminary study) with hope that this topic will be discussed at length in future.
