Ianya tumbuh berkembang di tengah-tengah masyarakat, diwujudkan oleh masyarakat dan ditujukan untuk masyarakat. Walau bagaimanapun masih ada yang beranggapan negatif mengenai pesantren bahawa ianya hanyalah institusi yang melahirkan para penggangur, dan belum mampu bertindak balas dengan masalah sosial dalam masyarakat. Istilah fasilah merujuk kepada kalimah akhir di penghujung setiap ayat al-Qur'an yang berperanan dalam menjaga kesempurnaan makna dan susun atur ayat. Lantaran kepelbagaian rima yang terdapat pada fasilah, maka terdapat pihak yang mendakwa bahawa rima-rima tersebut adalah tidak secocok, rancu dan pemilihan perkataan juga tidak serasi. This research considers the practice of wa‘d in Islamic banking products in Malaysia and Bangladesh and compares between them. It discusses the Shari‘ah issues and other challenges in the practice of wa‘d. Finally, it determines the prospects of wa‘d-based products in both countries. It adopts a qualitative case study approach while choosing three Islamic banks in each country for case study. Along with library research and document analysis, it conducts interviews with Islamic banking practitioners and Shari‘ah scholars. It follows thematic and a comparative method to analyse the data. However, there are many unresolved issues in instigating Muslim-Christian relation in Malaysia due to lacking of proper references and guidance. Thus, the purpose of this research is to analyze the religious tolerance phenomenon in Malaysia, based on the al-Fārūqī approach of religious tolerance from the perspective of Muslim and Christian religious leaders. The legality of al-ijārah al-mawṣūfah fī al-dhimmah (AIMAD) has been disputed. Some contemporary scholars have mentioned disagreement among the early Muslim scholars about it and have identified the Ḥanafī School’s position to be prohibition. In fact, the classical texts of most juristic schools are similar in terms of the discussion on this contract. Hence, the question that arises is whether there is really a dispute among the four major Sunni schools of Islamic law or consensus on the legality of AIMAD. The aim of this paper is to project China’s emerging trend towards high-politics in East Asia that is ostensibly generated by regional geopolitical dynamics. Hegemonic transition, replacing hegemonic stability, may seemingly be activating the dynamics. There is almost an inexorable move towards high-politics due mainly to presence of issues that are likely to trigger conflict, possibly a limited war. These issues range from flash points to populist nationalism, economic interdependence, and a competition for supremacy in the Western Pacific. The paper aims to examine the influence of three main downward accountability approach; information disclosure, participation mechanism, and complaints procedures on the external and internal effectiveness of nonprofit organizations in Malaysia. This study also seeks to provide a comprehensive measurement of downward accountability. A random sampling and a structured questionnaire survey were employed in approaching 300 staffs of 30 nonprofit organizations located in Klang Valley area, Malaysia. A total of 209 responses were received (69.6% of the response rate). A descriptive analysis and a structural equation modeling by SPSS AMOS were used for data analysis and hypotheses testing.
