Dostoievsky, Nathanael West, And Some Contemporary American Fiction, Joseph Taylor Skerrett Jr.

Joseph Taylor Skerrett Jr. is a member of the English faculty at Trenton Junior College, Trenton, New Jersey. He is a graduate of St. Francis College in New York and received his M.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University. A series of his short stories have appeared in The Sillion; included in these are "Crysalis," "A Distance Between," and "Before Going Away." Short stories written while Mr. Skerrett was at Johns Hopkins are currently being considered by several journals for publication. Religious As Artist: The Meshes Of A Sempiternal Ambivalence, Louis Reile S.M.

Louis Reile, a priest in the Society of Mary, is a member of the English faculty at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from St. Mary's University and received his M.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He studied at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and attended the Institut Catholique de Paris. He has published several short stories and is the author of The Battle and Brother Louis, Running Giant, and Rafael. His translations and adaptations include What Is a Boy? and What Is a Girl? J.W. Jones is a member of the English faculty at Hanover College, Indiana. He graduated from the University of Kentucky and received his M.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He was bibliographer of List of Faculty Publications, 1962·64, University of Kentucky and has had some of his poems published in periodicals. Awards he has won include the Ann Cobb Award in Poetry, 1964, and the Farqhar Award in Poetry, 1961. He was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, 1964-65, and a member of the Poet's Seminar at San Francisco Poetry Center, 1962.
