This edition of the Wooster Magazine was published in the spring of 2009. The article that begins the magazine is by editor Karol Crosbie about how she and the assistant editor, Jimmy Wilkinson Meyer, revamped the magazine's office with less than $400. Wayne Cornelius, Cyndy Tice, and Jay Gates will receive Distinguished Alumni Awards during Alumni Weekend. Five alumni are featured with their unifying topic of 'driving forces.' The Chinese studies program is featured from page twenty to twenty-five. Twins that are currently attending Wooster are highlighted from page twenty-six to thirty-one.

Westminister Reverend Ray Swartzback will be leaving his position here on February first to work at a small church in Cleveland. It needs to be decided if there is going to be a Mock Convention this year so that students can begin planning as soon as possible. Six students influenced the McGaw's challenge gift of $1.2 million. The fourth and fifth page make up an ad spread for the bookstore's sale of up to 50% off. The athletics section is on the seventh and eighth page.

A group of students have organized a 20 mile walkathon fundraiser on January 29 to help raise the $1.2 million dollar goal. On January 18, the Lowry Center Board will be bringing "The Fantasticks" off-broadway play to McGaw Chapel. Senior history major Douglas J. Savage will be running for the Democratic candidate for the nomination of State Representative from the 91st District. The letters to the editor are on the second page. After this announcement, there is a poem by Waldo H. Dunn on the subject of planting a flag in a polar environment. The opening article for this issue depicts the convocation of 1909 and the introduction to the class of 1913. An article discussing the new football coach follows on the pages after. The issue ends with advertisements for a number of local businesses.

This edition of the newspaper begins with an editor’s note stating that due to the request of several students, the poem, Jubilee Ode, which was read at the Commencement exercises the previous June has been published. A section in this newspaper, titled Resolutions, lists the recommendations that the Student Senate has for the student body. This edition also includes a section titled Religious, which discusses the subject under discussion at the previous YMCA and YWCA meetings.
