To identify the health information sources and seeking behaviour of the tribal rural women of Kangpokpi in Manipur, a north eastern state of India, 42 married women of child bearing age are randomly selected for the study. Descriptive Statistics is used to analyse the data. The study found that health information sources used most frequently by the women are the State Government-run Community Health Centre (CHC), the Pharmacy, Private Doctors, and Specialist Doctors in order of their preferences. This study sought to investigate access services that are presented to visually impaired users in academic libraries. There is a clear lack of digital resources and assistive technology in serving disabled/blind users in both libraries. Based on Mann-Whitney U-test results and p-value, there were similarities in website and databases accessibility and significant differences in providing some types of digital materials to visually impaired users. This study provides evidence for a non-linear and weakly monotonic relationship between school quality and house prices. Using Fremont, California, as the study area, the regression analysis shows that homeowners are unwilling to pay a premium for an increase in school quality from low to medium quality. However, they are willing to pay a) a large premium when all schools are top-quality schools and b) a premium for access to nationally-renowned schools, which is in addition to the premium for top-quality schools. This study was conducted to review the perception of Islamic libraries in Indonesia within the scope of Islamic economics in terms of scientific research in published journals that discuss the development of Islamic libraries. The main objective of this research is study of impact of the prison library services on prisoners’ spiritual well-being. Descriptive survey method was adopted and four null hypotheses were tested to achieve the main objective. A research questionnaire was used to collect data on the sampled 80 prisoners. Result indicated that information needs, accessibility to library information resources and utilization of library information resources are very critical ingredients in determining the spiritual well-being of prisoners. To test the structural and measurement models, the Partial Least Square Structural equation modeling (SEM) approach was used. Efficient hemorrhagic control is attained through the formation of strong and stable blood clots at the site of injury. Although it is known that platelet-driven contraction can dramatically influence clot stiffness, the underlying mechanisms by which platelets assist fibrin in resisting external loads are not understood. In this study, we delineate the contribution of platelet-fibrin interactions to clot tensile mechanics using a combination of new mechanical measurements, image analysis, and structural mechanics simulation. This study examined socio-economic differences in diverse food consumption among children 6–23 months of age in South Asia and Southeast Asian countries.
SUBJECTS/METHODS
Data from Demographic and Health Surveys in four countries in South Asia (n = 15,749) and four countries in Southeast Asia (n = 10,789) were used. Survey-design adjusted proportions were estimated for the following 10 food items: grains, legumes, dark green leafy vegetables (DGLV), vitamin A-rich fruits, vitamin A-rich vegetables, other fruits and vegetables (OFV), fish, meat, dairy, and eggs. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the entire world, affecting the economy, businesses, jobs, education, health, and many other things among it. Many businesses and organizations went virtual to survive the disease and reduce the losses.
