We report a workable and easy approach for the direct post-multifunctionalization of common BODIPYs (F-BODIPYs) with minimal interference to the starting photophysical behavior. It entails the easy transformation of an F-BODIPY into the corresponding N-BODIPY by using a dissimilarly-N,N′-disubstituted bis(sulfonamide), which is easily obtained from ethane-1,2-diamine. This approach is exemplified by the rapid synthesis of a selected battery of unprecedented dissimilar-at-boron N-BODIPYs, which are rationally designed to act as efficient multichromophoric arrays for light harvesting by excitation energy transfer, as specific bioprobes for fluorescent imaging, or as efficient chiroptical dyes exhibiting visible circular dichroism and circularly polarized luminescence. The study is an assessment of the use of mobile applications for information management among year two National Diploma students in the Department of Library and Information Science, Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. Let D be a connected balanced digraph. The classical distance dijD from vertex i to vertex j is the length of a shortest directed path from i to j in D. Let L be the Laplacian matrix of D and L†=(lij†) be the Moore–Penrose inverse of L. The resistance distance rijD from i to j is then defined by rijD≔lii†+ljj†−2lij†. Let C be a collection of connected and balanced digraphs, each member of which is a finite union of the form D1∪D2∪....∪Dk where each Dt is a connected and balanced digraph with Dt∩(D1∪D2∪⋯∪Dt−1) being a single vertex, for all 1 < t ≤ k. In this paper, we show that for any digraph D in C, rijD ≤ dijD(∗) for all i,j. This is established by partitioning the Laplacian matrix of D suitably. This generalizes the main result in Balaji et al. (2020), namely, the inequality (*) holds for any directed cactus D. Related studies have been made by many authors. For instance, in Gurvich (2022) and Gurvich and Vyalyi (2012), Vladimir Gurvich applied the results on connected balanced digraphs to semi-conductors in electrical networks. In Young et al. (2016) [12,13], the authors study ‘effective resistance distance’ in graphs and digraphs while in Chebotarev (2011), graph geodetic distance is studied.

Dissociative adsorption onto a surface introduces dynamic correlations between neighboring sites not found in non-dissociative absorption. We study surface coverage dynamics where reversible dissociative adsorption of dimers occurs on a finite linear lattice. We derive analytic expressions for the equilibrium surface coverage as a function of the number of reactive sites, N, and the ratio of the adsorption and desorption rates. Using these results, we characterize the finite size effect on the equilibrium surface coverage. For comparable N’s, the finite size effect is significantly larger when N is even than when N is odd. The study raised four research goals as well as four research questions. PURPOSE: The paper examined the effect of library skills and literacy on the academic performance of undergraduate students at Kwara State University, Nigeria.

DESIGN/METHODOLOGY: A descriptive survey method and random sampling techniques were used with 150 randomly selected students for the research. A self-designed questionnaire was used to elicit responses from the respondents, and a simple percentage ratio was adapted for data analysis.

The research method used is bibliometric analysis, with data collection from the Scopus database, carried out on September 8, 2023, using the keyword "Archivist" from 2013 to 2022 and specifically for final publications with journal type. Data is processed and analyzed using Publish or Perish (PoP) and VOSviewer to display visualization results.
