The study was conducted to evaluate digital record management system in the hospitals in Minna metropolis (a case study of General Hospital Minna, Niger State). Four research questions guided the study. Survey research design was adopted. The population of the study was one hundred and twenty four (124) medical staff (Doctors, Nurses, Laboratory Technologists and Pharmacists). There was no sampling as the entire population was used for the study. A 19 items structured questionnaire was developed from the literature and used for data collection. Human capital is a key success factor in any organisation. Dissatisfied and unhappy staff may not perform maximally, and this could affect an organisation’s products and services. This study examined the extent to which leadership style, correlated with job satisfaction intention in private university libraries South-West, Nigeria.Survey research design was adopted. The population consisted of all the 361 library staff. Findings revealed that the level of job satisfaction of library staff was low, and that the most practice leadership style is autocratic. It also revealed a significant relationship between leadership style and job satisfaction (r = 0.028, p < 0.05); The study concluded that leadership style contributed significantly to the low level of job satisfaction. It is recommended that library management should be more democratic, payment of allowances should be put in place. This would increase the job satisfaction of the employees in private university libraries.

Immature Lucilia sericata (Meigen) raised on beef liver, beef heart, pork liver and pork heart at a mean temperature of 20.6°C took a minimum of 20 days to complete development. Minimum development time differences within stages were observed between the meat types (pork/beef), but not the organ types (liver/heart). Daily hyperspectral measurements were conducted and a functional regression was completed to examine the main effects of meat and organ type on daily spectral measurements. Higher education institutions of all sizes are focused on increasing retention and graduation rates and improving student engagement and learning through the usage of High-Impact Educational Practices (HIPs). This emphasis on HIPs have changed (and will continue to change) the spaces and services that university and college libraries offer, especially as libraries become the all-inclusive place in supporting the research lifecycle. Therefore, it is important for library staff to understand what HIPs are, how institutions are using them, and the impact that they already have and may have on libraries in the near- and long-term.

The Southern Ocean plays a critical role in the global climate system by mediating atmosphere–ocean partitioning of heat and carbon dioxide. However, Earth system models are demonstrably deficient in the Southern Ocean, leading to large uncertainties in future air–sea CO2 flux projections under climate warming and incomplete interpretations of natural variability on interannual to geologic time scales. Here, we describe a recent aircraft observational campaign, the O2/N2 Ratio and CO2 Airborne Southern Ocean (ORCAS) study, which collected measurements over the Southern Ocean during January and February 2016. The main purpose of the paper is to study the publishing trends of the open access religious journals available in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The data were collected online from the Directory of Open Access Journals and quantitative method was applied for data analysis. The data were collected in December 2017 and later presented in tabular forms to reveal the findings. The findings show that 119 religious journals are registered in the DOAJ, published from the 27 countries by 114 publishing agencies in 14 languages. During their migrations, marine predators experience varying levels of protection and face many threats as they travel through multiple countries’ jurisdictions and across ocean basins. Some populations are declining rapidly. This study was carried out with the most prolific authors of 2014 from the four subject domain “Clinical medicine, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Neuroscience” and around 4886 papers was identified and studied their Mendeley readership count and citation count. Information for decision making may be publicly available, but costly to obtain. As an experiment in environmental scanning, the internet was searched on a daily basis over several years to collect information and provide analysis related to decisions on deer management. The process discovered that, contrary to common assumptions, the U.S. deer population has apparently been falling since about the year 2000 based on analysis of available state data that had not been aggregated. Fibrous networks, including collagen and fibrin, provide strength and support, and are critical for maintaining homeostasis. In this study, we have developed algorithms to define the structural properties of collagen and fibrin networks from microscopic images of these networks in abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) and blood clots, respectively.
