Purpose- This study aimed to identify and analyze the bibliometric characteristics of the classic papers in the field of critical care.

Design/methodology/approach- In this bibliometric overview, Google Scholar, Scopus and Web of Science were used for data collection. Study sample consisted of the classic papers in the field of critical care, introduced in Google scholar. SPSS were used for data analyses.

This study analyses the Eosinophilia research output carried out during the year 1998 – 2017 the different parameters including authorship pattern, growth, Time Series Analysis Degree of Collaboration, Institutions’ contribution, most productivity journals were analysed. The overall growth rate of literature output is found to be positive with an increasing trend in Eosinophilia research throughout the study period. Two and more authored papers constitute majority of the contribution and degree of collaboration had a maximum value of 7.14. The result shows that research development activities are increasing in Eosinophilia research in India.

The present study aims to identify the status of Open Access Repositories (OARs) in the field of Ecology and Environment. The data was collected from the Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR). Data collected was analysed on different parameters such as geographical distribution, software usage, content type, repository type and language diversity. As of now OpenDOAR holds 176 repositories in the field of Ecology and Environment. The findings further reveal that the maximum number of repositories belong to the USA accounting for 18(10.2%). Also, the maximum number of repositories are institutional accounting for 134(76%).

Submarine canyons are prominent bathymetric features in the ocean and in addition to being interesting geological regions, submarine canyons are associated with important physical processes in the ocean. Internal wave reflection from sloping boundaries can cause strong mixing in the turbulent boundary layers near sloping topography. Boundary mixing driven by internal waves may account for a significant portion of the overall oceanic vertical mixing. Most HPLC columns are packed with silanol (Si-OH)-rich type-B silica that often participates in undesired electrostatic interactions with sample solutes and produces a poor analyte peak shape. These silanols are also known to facilitate the surface hydration required for HILIC mode to retain polar analytes. However, the hydrated surface composition can easily fluctuate, which results in poor reproducibility and requires a lengthy equilibration step. The physical and compositional characteristics of a unique ash-rich hydrothermal sediment, hydrothermal muddy tuff (HMT), on Axial Seamount, Juan de Fuca Ridge, suggest that it formed by phreatomagmatic eruptions during caldera formation. Deposit thickness trends away from the seamount summit and the presence of 68% primary volcaniclasts and 32% secondary lithics suggest a source from along caldera ring-faults deep in the crust. Lithic geothermometry indicates that the source was subject to low-temperature (<150 >°C) alteration, consistent with a provenance as deep as 600 – 800 m below the seafloor. The use of seawater in fermentation can potentially reduce the freshwater burden in the bio-based production of chemicals and fuels. We previously developed a Saccharomyces cerevisiae carotenoids hyperproducer SM14 capable of accumulating 18 mg g−1 DCW (DCW: dry cell weight) of β-carotene in rich media (YPD). In this work, the impacts of seawater on the carotenoid production of SM14 were investigated. When using nutrient-reduced media (0.1× YNB) in freshwater the β-carotene production of SM14 was 6.51 ± 0.37 mg g−1 DCW; however in synthetic seawater, the production was increased to 8.67 ± 0.62 mg g−1 DCW. The average number of publications published per year was 765.9. The highest number of publications (1264) was recorded in the year 2015.
