Present study aims to determine the use and awareness of e-journals among teachers and research scholars of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET). Study also targets to define the purpose of e-journals’ use, access place, preferred format and frequency to use. Data was collected from 60 users of different departments of UIET. Study indicates that majority of the respondents use e-journals for their research assignments, they prefer to retrieve e-resources mainly through simple search techniques such as key word, author and title.

Genetic identification aims to solve the shortcomings of morphological identification. By using the cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (COI) gene as the Eukaryotic “barcode,” scientists hope to research species that may be morphologically ambiguous, elusive, or similarly difficult to visually identify. Current COI databases allow users to search only for existing database records. However, as the number of sequenced, potential COI genes increases, COI identification tools should ideally also be informative of novel, previously unreported sequences that may represent new species. Wear is defined as the erosion of a shoe’s outsole or the loss of tread pattern, and it happens gradually over time with use. After a shoeprint is collected from a crime scene, it is questioned whether an individualization can be made if an exemplar is created after additional use of the shoe. The shoes of ten volunteers at San Jose State University were analyzed over a period of 40-45 days. The analysis covers mainly the year wise distribution of articles, category wise classification of papers, authorship patterns of papers, growth rate study, most prolific contributions of papers, institution-wise distribution of contributions, geographical distribution of papers of the area of Agronomy research. The analysis showed that 1206 papers were published in Agronomy research for the period from 1956 to 2017.

This paper presents a bibliometric overview of Indian researchers publications published on “Solid Waste” in the Web of Science database from 2008 to 2017. Several aspects have been analyzed in the study; such as the growth and distribution of solid waste research in India, the most productive organization/institution in India, authorship pattern, document type, the high frequency of authors’ keywords, measuring the source of publications, and the international collaboration in India’s research output and so on. The study investigates the use of electronic resources by the science faculty and research scholars in five universities of North India. Survey method was employed and the data was collected using a comprehensive questionnaire. The results obtained from 668 respondents indicated that the usage was highest for e-journals in comparison to other e-resources. Preference is given to search engines in finding information which is chiefly used for research and related purposes. The study, using Microsoft Excel, analyses the year-wise research productivity, its citation impact, national and international collaborations, top collaborating institutions, subject-wise distribution of papers, journals used for communication, most preferred journals for publication, most prolific authors, number of citations received, and top cited papers of the University during the period under study. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of three isolates of the wood-decaying white-rot basidiomycete fungus Dichomitus squalens. The genomes of these monokaryons were sequenced to provide more information on the intraspecies genomic diversity of this fungus and were compared to the previously sequenced genome of D. squalens LYAD-421 SS1.

In this paper, we investigate results from chemical reaction network theory and a list of techniques to test for the reaction-coordinates dynamical system to have a partial order induced by a positive orthant cone. A successful result from one of these tests guarantees mono-stationarity (and indeed convergence). We also investigate a recently published algorithmic and computational approach to determine whether a reaction network establishes mono- or multi-stationarity. For decades, comic books have been a prevalent media format through which cultural perceptions of masculinity are disseminated. Batman is an exemplary character who is expected to perform and behave in a manner that corresponds with social constructs of the American masculine identity: strong, dominant, and protective. These gendered traits, as represented through Batman’s body and relationships with various allies, are analyzed through the lens of R.W. The purpose of this study is to query the nurses for their perceptions of the barriers and facilitators of discharging medically complex pediatric patients from a freestanding children’s hospital in central California. Using a mixed methods research design via an online survey, 90 nurses identified 3 distinct themes that act as barriers.
