Abstract

This study is an examination of the present status of healthy aging programs and services provided to older Asian Indian (AI) immigrants in Santa Clara County. The primary goals of the study were to develop a profile of programs being offered to AI seniors at various ethnic community organizations; and to determine the met and unmet needs for programs and services that promote healthy aging in the AI senior population. A key informant survey was conducted with leaders of seven different organizations in Santa Clara County known to currently provide some services to AI seniors. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Library at San Jose State University is a unique combination of both academic and public library. The academic library has a special place on the college campus in the United States; usually, it is centrally located on the university as a primary place of convergence. The King Library offers space for everybody’s use. This presentation provided information on the initial analysis for data collected in a study of the “library as place” and SJSU students' perceptions regarding their sense of belonging towards the King Library building. Stem cell research is a vital area of study. It is of interest to scientists in India and all countries [1]. Bibliometrics is a truly interdisciplinary research field. Bibliometrics comprises mathematics, social science, natural sciences, engineering, and life sciences. Bibliometric studies such as a work on the research productivity in ophthalmic and vision research used both the number of publications and qualitative measures of journals.[2] This article is a bibliometric study of a part of the literature on stem cell research.
