The study shared the experience of an academic library during the COVID-19 pandemic in a Nigerian University. The study was a descriptive survey to purposively sample 2687 subscribers to the library social media platform “the Telegram” used to disseminate library services. The findings revealed that there were more males (83%) than female (17%) subscribers, a total of 446 information resources were disseminated through provision of their links (402), as pdf (31) and Jpeg (8). The paper examined utilization of cloud computing and its relationship on the academic performance of final year students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. A 4-point Lickert scale of Strongly Agree; Agree; Disagree; Strongly Disagree was used to obtain responses from the 285 sample respondents. The result shows that majority of 206(72%) out of 285 utilizes cloud computing for e-mail and other social media platform. Following in descending order, 96(33.6%) for University portal; 95(33.3%) for e-learning; 88(30.9%) for digital archiving; 88(30.9%) for research application; 87(30.5%) use it to search online database; 85(29.8%) for online file storage. Mendeley offers readership statistic to publications and use these readership statistics to evaluate research performance of an individual. The primary purpose of this paper is to investigate the Mendeley readership counts of Sambalpur University's publications from 1971 to 2018. In this study; bibliographical data exported from Scopus using affiliations search tab and exported data between1971 to 2018. A total of 1553 records were found. The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the entire world. This study aimed to measure how well COVID-19 articles attracted in the social web during the deadly pandemic period. A total of 145 articles from Nature journal were collected and analyzed to gauge the major metrics from various social platforms. The results showed that social media attention to the articles was fluctuating in each month recording an upward and downward trend. Twitter was the major carrier of COVID-19 articles with total 143452 mentions followed by news outlets with 5251 mentions. Articles were yet to penetrate in many other platforms like …

The main aim of this research is to evaluate the attitude of university students' towards Information Technology (IT) and to identify whether their attitude plays any significant role in contributing digital divide among them. The study used quantitative research design and administered a pre-validated questionnaire to a sample of 644 postgraduate students selected with stratified random sampling. This study reports that about one third of the students fall under the high level attitude towards IT, while just above two thirds of them came under the medium level attitude. This study examined the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment among information professionals working at university libraries in Pakistan. A cross-sectional survey using a questionnaire was conducted. The questionnaire contained items related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment along with demographic variables. All the professionals working in university libraries of Punjab and Islamabad were considered as study population. It was decided to collect data from all these professionals. The study investigated the relationships between lecturers’ performance expectancy, effort expectancy and their adoption of open access scholarly publishing in the state universities. A correlational research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised 1,111 lecturers in Faculties of Education and Sciences in the five state universities in the South-East of Nigeria while the sample was 834 respondents selected through proportionate sampling technique. The study investigated the role of library instruction in curbing plagiarism among undergraduates in University of Ilorin. The research design was descriptive survey .The research was guided by two questions and a hypothesis. It was a questionnaire based study.
