This paper discussed the contemporary digital literacy skills among library professionals in Jimma university libraries of Ethiopia. The study was guided by six objectives and research questions. The design of the study is descriptive survey and the population consists of all librarians from Jimma university libraries. The instrument used to generate data is the questionnaire and the data generated was analyzed using simple percentages and frequency count for research questions and SPSS version 20.0. The study examined the influence of emotional intelligence (EI) and self esteem on librarians’ social adjustment in federal universities in Nigeria. The study seek to ascertain whether emotional intelligence and self esteem predict social adjustment using a sample of 107 librarians drawn from 40 federal universities in Nigeria within the age range of 25 to 60 and a mean (X) age of 36.68) years and SD of 6.21. The multiple regression analysis shows that emotional intelligence has no significant relationship with social maladjustment thus showing a negative relationship. This study investigated the organizational commitment of information professionals working at university libraries in Pakistan. Survey method was adopted using a questionnaire to collect data from 329 information professionals of Punjab and Islamabad. The questionnaire contained 18-items measure of organizational commitment, developed by Meyer, Allen and Smith (1993), along with certain demographic variables. Each statement was measured on 5-point Likert scale (e.g. 1=Strongly Disagree, 2=Disagree, 3= Neutral, 4=Agree, 5= Strongly Agree). Purpose –This study investigated factors affect the use of Twitter by Pakistani journalists and to what extent Twitter usage impact on their job performance.

Design/methodology/approach –This study opted for a quantitative survey research design. The theoretical lens used in this study was the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), extended to include the impact of Twitter usage on job performance. The role of the library of agricultural extension workers in Osun State, Nigeria is very important. Structural questionnaires were used to collect data from 160 extension workers in the study area, out of which 149 (93.1%) responded and were used for analysis. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data using frequency, percentage table, and regression analysis to test the relationship between variables. The study examined 2053 papers related to the publications of SAARC Countries on Colorectal cancer indexed in the web of science databases during 2010- 2018. The world colorectal cancer output (116203 publications) was formed from several countries. The present study analyzed the research output, authorship pattern, collaborative pattern, and activity index of five SAARC Countries viz. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
