Swallowing is a neuromuscular process that involves a complex sequence of sensorimotor events, which are executed to efficiently and safely transport food and liquid from the mouth to the stomach. Safe oropharyngeal swallowing involves the activation, modulation, and coordination of oral, pharyngeal, laryngeal, and esophageal structures and musculature. Impaired or atypical patterns of swallowing are considered characteristic of a swallowing disorder, otherwise referred to as dysphagia, and affect the performance of all stages, i.e., oral preparatory, oral transit, pharyngeal, and esophageal. The present study was conducted to examine the accessibility and corrosion of web references cited in articles of DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology. A total of 1921 web references cited in 273 articles for five years from 2014-2018 were identified and checked to test their accessibility in terms of decay and persistence. Nearly 23.31% web references disappeared with passage of time. The results revealed that older the age of URL references, higher the percentage of inactive URL references. Purpose

This paper sought to determine the implementation of curbside/book pick-up services within South African University libraries. This study seeks to quantify South African university libraries that use curbside book pick-up services during the COVID-19 pandemic

Design/methodology/approach

The study employed a quantitative approach where informetrics has been used as the primary data collection method to analyse the implementation of curbside/book pick-up services on the web pages of 26 South African University Libraries.

The ability to rapidly detect and respond to wildlife morbidity and mortality events is critical for reducing threats to wildlife populations. Surveillance systems that use pre-diagnostic clinical data can contribute to the early detection of wildlife morbidities caused by a multitude of threats, including disease and anthropogenic disturbances. Here, we demonstrate proof of concept for use of a wildlife disease surveillance system, the 'Wildlife Morbidity and Mortality Event Alert System', that integrates pre-diagnostic clinical data in near real-time from a network of wildlife rehabilitation organizations, for early and enhanced detection of unusual wildlife morbidity and mortality events. Objective We assessed the impact of bearing multiple marginalized identities, experiencing discrimination and perceived social status on the prevalence of depression in college students using an intersectional approach.

Participants Public health students at a diverse urban public university in Northern California (N = 338, response rate = 85%; 77% women, mean age 22).

Methods We used a cross-sectional survey to assess demographics, depression, discrimination and social standing using validated scales and estimate the relations between depression and co-factors.

This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the literature in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The records as indexed in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in MEDLINE data covered in PubMed for the period 2010-2019 considered.
