Higher academic institutions are now focusing on capturing the behaviors of the postgraduate students towards digital libraries. It depends on the conditions of assessing the psychological needs of both parties in which service-provider provides services to recipient and recipient reciprocate service-provider in turn to their services. Drawing from service-encounter needs theory (SENT), this study measures the service quality of the digital library of the Pakistan higher education commission (HEC) and student behaviors using the digital library. Interestingly, this study tests the service quality of the HEC digital library in the sight of postgraduate students of the public and private Universities …

Artificial intelligence applications provide tremendous opportunities to improve human life and drive innovation. AI systems/applications which operate in a real-world environment have to encounter an infinite set of feasible scenarios. Conventional testing approach to test the AI application allows only limited testing and does not allow taking the different contexts into consideration and may lead to insufficient validation and characterization. Therefore, to ensure robustness, certainty and reliability of AI applications, the authors applied classification-based AI software testing framework and 3D decision tables to generate test cases. Moreover, the authors compared the quality assurance metrics (accuracy, correctness, reliability and consistency) of …

Migratory marine species cross political borders and enter the high seas, where the lack of an effective global management framework for biodiversity leaves them vulnerable to threats. Here, we combine 10,108 tracks from 5775 individual birds at 87 sites with data on breeding population sizes to estimate the relative year-round importance of national jurisdictions and high seas areas for 39 species of albatrosses and large petrels. Populations from every country made extensive use of the high seas, indicating the stake each country has in the management of biodiversity in international waters. We quantified the links among national populations of these …

The Arctic Ocean is one of the most important and challenging regions to observe—it experiences the largest changes from climate warming, and at the same time is one of the most difficult to sample because of sea ice and extreme cold temperatures. Two NASA-sponsored deployments of the Saildrone vehicle provided a unique opportunity for validating sea-surface salinity (SSS) derived from three separate products that use data from the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) satellite. To examine possible issues in resolving mesoscale-to-submesoscale variability, comparisons were also made with two versions of the Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean (ECCO) …
