Race, Rap And The Community Standards Test Of Obscenity: The Community Of Culture, Steven Friedland
Nova Law Review
Controversy and obscenity laws appear to go hand in hand.2
Within the past year, for example, obscenity issues have cropped up in
disparate areas around the country, creating a public outcry3 stretching
far beyond the locales in which the issues arose.

Marine & Environmental Sciences Faculty Articles
Wombalano is characterized by having a interlocked basket of large spines on the bases of male gnathopod 2; these bases arc curved inward to afford the interlocking capability.
This genus differs from Lemboides Stebbing in the even more shortened inner ramus of uropod 3, in the simple mandibular palp, the fused articles of the flagellum on antenna 2, and the immense basket-shovel formed of spines on articl 2 of male gnathopod 2.

An Evaluation Of Two Work Values Assessment Instruments For Use With Hearing-Impaired College Students, Jonathan Hackbarth, Geoffrey Mathay
An Evaluation Of Two Work Values Assessment Instruments For Use With Hearing-Impaired College Students, Jonathan Hackbarth, Geoffrey Mathay
JADARA
Two work values assessment instruments, the Values Scale {VS) and the Minnesota Importance Questionnaire, adapted for use with hearing-impaired persons (MIQa), were evaluated for use with hearing-impaired college students. Both instruments were given to 157 hearing-impaired college freshmen and sophomores. Results indicated low to moderate Pearson Correlation Coefficients between comparable VS and MIQa items. Ranking of comparable values items between instruments was inconsistent. Validity of either or both instruments for use with hearing-impaired students is in question due to concerns relating to the paired-form format of the MIQa and the vocabulary of the VS. Further research is recommended.

Curriculum-Oriented Cai Based On Instructional Technology To Be Used For Teaching Secondary School Students Introductory Library Skills, Theresa K. Toohil
CCAC Theses and Dissertations
In 1990, the New York State Education Department presented a syllabus that required the teaching of curriculum-oriented library skills and suggested the use of computers to be integrated with the teaching of these skills whenever possible. Schools in New York State are now trying to implement the suggestions in the syllabus. Many authors of educational articles have written at length concerning the incorporation of computer-assisted instruction (CAl) into the classroom, but clear directions have not been provided in the literature for the design or implementation of the necessary software.
The purpose of this study was to design a program based …

A class offered by the library on how to search databases available through DIALOG's Classroom Instruction Program (CIP) was proposed, in cooperation with existing research classes in the student's field. A study was conducted at Winona State University. Winona, MN, with research classes offered by two professors in the field of special education. The study was to determine whether the information presented in an instruction session based on six …

what kind of movies we can watch,4 what kind of books we can read
and what kind of photographs we can view.6 Now, one court in Florida
has told its citizenry that there are certain kinds of music that should
