Spring And Summer Foods Of Bullfrogs In Louisiana Coastal Marshes, Villere Caliste Reggio Jr.

The spring and summer foods of bullfrogs (Rana catesbeiana and R. grylio) were determined from examination of stomachs of 425 specimens collected in three coastal areas of Louisiana.
Bullfrogs from the coastal marshes are omnivorous although chiefly carnivorous. Crustaceans make up over 50 per cent of their spring and summer diet. Their major food is crabs which occurred in 55 per cent of the stomachs and formed 51 per cent of the total volume of consumed food. This is in marked contrast to findings in more northern states, where crawfish and insects form the principal foods. Other major foods consumed …

An Analysis Of The Evaluation Aspect Of In-Company Management Training Programs With An International Enterprise, Besim Baykal

During the last few years, evaluation of management training programs has been the cause of heated arguments. Students of different views have been trying to justify their views regarding the validity and feasibility of evaluating the effectiveness of management training courses. The purposes of this study are: (1) to reveal the basic differences between the conflicting views; (2) to determine which view was adopted in a selected company, and upon what grounds the decision was made; and (3) to develop some normative guide lines for evaluating in-company managerial training programs.
