Addressing The Lack Of Availability In Diverse Skin Tone Options For Performance Wear, Jessica Batey
GS4 Student Scholars Symposium
The following research addresses the lack of availability in diverse skin tone options for performance fabric. The project will discuss the struggles people of color face when finding fabrics that accurately match their skin tone and the difficulties in sourcing the materials needed to successfully design a garment. The research gathered will be used to produce a collection of 4 looks using nude mesh fabrics that are readily available to the average consumer. The garments within the collection will be designed to match the skin color of 4 models. The collection’s theme will be based around the 4 cardinal witches …

Sin Without Absolution: A Critical And Comparative Analysis Of Select Works By Albert Camus, Will Hodges
Sin Without Absolution: A Critical And Comparative Analysis Of Select Works By Albert Camus, Will Hodges
Honors College Theses
The Fall by Albert Camus, published in 1956, is cryptic and easily misunderstood. On first reading, it can appear to be a condemnation of modern man, a declaration that all have sinned and there is no divine absolution. However, this bleak misreading is deceptive because The Fall is not a condemnation; it is a warning. "Shakedown Street: The Grateful Dead And The Commodification Of Hippie Culture", Zachary A. Graham
"Shakedown Street: The Grateful Dead And The Commodification Of Hippie Culture", Zachary A. Graham

Beginning as a small, experimental blues-rock group with no desire to pursue commercial success, fame and fortune nonetheless found the Dead over the course of their three decades on the road. Through constant touring, a consistent level of apathy towards business and making money, and with the help of arguably the most dedicated fanbase in music history, the Grateful Dead became more than just a band, they were the face of a new cultural phenomenon that …

Staging A Metaphor: Transplant As A Relationship In Lauren Gunderson's I And You, Georgia Su Ga
Honors College Theses
First time directing offers many lessons to be learned. No two directors will learn the exact same things. For the sake of diversity of perspective, this is a positive thing. Directors are meant to be different from one another. It is necessary and eye opening to see one play presented in several different ways. While every directing process, vision, and final product varies from person to person, we can learn a thing or two from our fellow directors and gain inspiration.
Directing, especially for those just starting out, is an experiment for their methods, organization skills, rehearsal routines, collaborations with …
