Dr. M.A. Adams, a representive from "Dry Forces" distributed cards to the Association to petition the state legislature for a statewide referendum on the topic. The Relief and Annuity Board reported that a new statewide plan called the North Carolina Ministers' Retirement Plan has been established. Polkville and Love Valley churches joined the Association. The General Board reported that N.L. Whistnant was elected to the office of Sunday School Superintendent.

The most famous feature of the school was the Seney-Stovall Chapel built on school grounds. Currently, the University of Georgia owns the property.
