A Practice Approach To The Japanese Company : Loyalty, Harmony And Incentives, Kyonosuke Hirai

Asian Review

A number of books on the Japanese society published since the Sixties considered the Japanese collectiveness as the source of Japan's economic success. Drawing on the work of Pierre Bourdieu, the paper shows that harmony and loyalty in the large Japanese company, which they emphasised as symbols of the collectiveness, indicate only an ideological picture of Japanese society, and, in reality, employees consciously or unconsciously attempt to improve their positions in terms of accumulating symbolic capital in daily activities. The paper relies largely on the author's own experience in a large Japanese company between 1988 and 1990.

การศึกษาครั้ง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาวิธีการประเมินราคาที่ดินสำหรับนำไปใช้ในการพัฒนาโครงการที่อยู่อาศัย และศึกษาวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ที่มีผลกระทบต่อมูลค่าของที่ดิน และโครงการที่อยู่อาศัยผลของการศึกษาพบว่า วิธีการประเมินราคาที่เหมาะสมสำหรับการประเมินราคาเพื่อโครงการที่อยู่อาศัย คือ การประเมินราคาที่ดินจากส่วนที่เหลือ หรือวิธีการประเมินราคาที่ดินจากการตั้งสมมุติฐานในการพัฒนาโครงการ โดยมีหลักการในการประเมินราคา คือ การกำหนดมูลค่าสูงสุดที่ได้จากการพัฒนาโครงการในแปลงที่ดิน แล้วนำมาลบด้วยต้นทุนรวมในการพัฒนาโครงการและผลกำไรที่คาคว่าจะได้รับของผู้ประกอบการ ส่วนที่เหลือคือราคาที่ดินที่ต้องการทราบมูลค่าโดยนำมาคิดเป็นมูลค่าปัจจุบันตามระยะ เวลาในการดำเนินโครงการในส่วนของปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งมีผลกระทบต่อมูลค่าในการประเมินราคา ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านกฎหมายและระเบียบข้อบังคับต่าง ๆ ปัจจัยด้านสังคมและประชากร, ปัจจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจและการตลาด, ปัจจัยด้านการเมืองและนโยบายของรัฐ และปัจจัยด้านกายภาพ พี่งปัจจัยดังกล่าวจะมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อมูลค่าของที่ดินในการประเมินราคาแนวทางในการนำวิธีการประเมินราคาที่ได้จากการศึกษาไปใช้ จะเหมาะสำหรับนักลงทุน หรือ นักพัฒนาที่ดิน เพื่อใช้ประกอบการตัดสินใจซื้อที่ดินสำหรับนำไปพัฒนาโครงการ และสำหรับนักประเมินราคา ควรนำไปใช้ร่วมกับการประเมินราคาตามวิธีเปรียบเทียบราคาตลาดเพื่อให้ได้ราคาประเมินที่ดินที่มีมูลค่า เหมาะสมกับการใช้ประโยชน์อย่างแท้จริง

In this article the author contends that most EFL students never learn to communicate effetively in English. Two major reasons for this, he argues, are that too much emphasis is placed on the memorization of functional formulas and that teachers fail to get students emotionally involved in the learning process. General guidelines for creating an atmosphere more conducive to language learning are offered.

This Article describes a teacher/research project carried out at a middle school in Springfield, Virginia, where the author (at that time the school's reading resource teacher) and an ESL teacher set out to answer the question What sort of theoretical framework should we use to best facilitate our ESI students' language and literacy development? The Role Of Self-Study Materials In Proficiency Upgrade Programs For Offshore Gas Production Workers, Michael J. Lipinsky

Unocal Thailand has been providing English language training for its employees for over fifteen years. For the most part, this training has been for new employees and has prepared them for their job in the petroleum industry as well as for further technical training in English. Recently, however, the company has shifted from pre-service training to upgrade training of workers already in the field. This article deals with an approach to provide proficiency upgrade programs in listening and reading to full-time workers while wrestling with problems of scheduling and motivation.

The Relationship Between The Reading Strategies And Language Background Of Thai Science Students In Performing Summary Tests, Kanchana Prapphal

This article examines the relationship between the reading strategies and language background of thirty Thai science students in performing English for Academic Purposes (EAP) summary tests. A 2*2 analysis of covariance* was employed, with the pretest as the covariate. Although no significant relationships were found, the data suggested that training in top-level rhetorical organization of expository texts might enhance Thai science students' reading comprehension. It was also noted that students proficient in general English could transfer their language skills across content.

Development Of A Stable Topical Indomethacin Solution, Panida Vayumhasuwan, Saranya Tharasawaeng

The Thai Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Each topical indomethacin solution formulated was composed of ethanol, propylene glycol, a surfactant and water. The surfactants studied were polysorbate 80, pluronic F127 and pluronic F68. Predicted shelf lives at an average laboratory room temperature (33 ℃) of the formulations containing 5% polysorbate 80, 5% pluronic F127 and 5% pluronic F68 were 8.23, 7.43 and 5.06 years, respectively. From a statistical point of view, first order rate constants predicted by the Arrhenius equation were not different from those actually obtained at ambient temperature.
