This study aimed to assess the impact of herbicide application on soil micro-organism density and to identify microorganisms resistant to 2,4-D-dimethyl-ammonium (2,4-D) for potential biodegradation. Research was conducted in maize plots in Lopburi Province, where 2,4-D was applied at a rate of 120 g of active ingredient per 160 m2. The soil samples were collected at various intervals: before application; 2 and 4 hours postapplication; and 1, 3, and 7 days after application. The analyses included soil property and microorganism population analyses. Kinetics Of Hexavalent Chromium Adsorption And Reduction By Living Cells Of The Marine Bacterium Bacillus Cereus, Jittima Charoenpanich, Wachiraphorn Cherdchoo, Jutamas Pantab, Jariya Supakrit

This study identified Bacillus cereus, an efficient Cr(VI) bioreducer, isolated from marine sediment in Thailand. Batch experiments verified the complete removal of 25 mg L-1Cr(VI) from synthetic wastewater (pH 7.0) after 6 days at 37 °C, 50 rpm,and a biomass concentration of 25% (v/v) culture inoculum. The Freundlich isotherm model demonstrated the best correlation with the Cr(VI) adsorption equilibrium data in the 25–100 mg L-1concentration range (R2= 0.9831). Kinetic analyses indicated that the removal of Cr(VI) by living B. cereusfollowed a pseudo-second-order adsorption model (R2= 0.9875) and a pseudo-second-order reduction model (R2= 0.9807). การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) สถานการณ์และรูปแบบการใช้สารเสพติดร่วมของผู้ใช้สารเสพติดที่รับการบำบัดสารเสพติดในโรงพยาบาลรัฐบาลในเขต ภาคใต้ และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยคัดสรร ได้แก่ อายุ เพศ อาชีพ ระดับการศึกษา สถานภาพสมรส อายุที่เริ่มใช้สารเสพติด ระยะเวลาการใช้สารเสพติด การดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ การสูบบุหรี่ ภาวะซึมเศร้า ความวิตกกังวลขณะปัจจุบัน การวิตกกังวลประจำบุคคล การเผชิญความเครียดด้านการมุ่งแก้สาเหตุปัญหา การเผชิญความเครียดด้านการจัดการกับอารมณ์ และสัมพันธภาพในครอบครัว กับพฤติกรรมการใช้สารเสพติดของผู้ใช้สารเสพติดหลายชนิดร่วมกันในภาคใต้ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเพื่อตอบวัตถุประสงค์วิจัยข้อ 1 คือ ผู้ใช้สารเสพติด จำนวน 111 คน และกลุ่มตัวอย่างเพื่อตอบวัตถุประสงค์วิจัยข้อ 2 คือ ผู้ใช้สารเสพติดหลายชนิดร่วมกัน จำนวน 211 คน ทั้งเพศชายและหญิง ที่มีอายุ 20 – 59 ปี ที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกตามเกณฑ์คุณสมบัติที่กำหนดไว้ ซึ่งเข้ารับการบำบัดรักษายาเสพติดแบบผู้ป่วยนอก โรงพยาบาลรัฐบาลในเขตภาคใต้ ได้แก่ โรงพยาบาลธัญญารักษ์สงขลา โรงพยาบาลมหาราช นครศรีธรรมราช โรงพยาบาลสิชล และโรงพยาบาลพระพรหม จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยมี 5 ชุด คือ 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล 2) แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมการใช้สารเสพติด 3) แบบประเมินภาวะซึมเศร้า 9Q 4) แบบวัดความวิตกกังวล STAI 5) แบบวัดการเผชิญความเครียต และ 6) แบบสอบถามสัมพันธภาพในครอบครัว สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ข้อมูลได้แก่ การแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติไคสแคว์ และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สันผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. จากผลการศึกษาสถานการณ์และรูปแบบการใช้สารเสพติดในภาคใต้ พบว่า ผู้ใช้สารเสพติดเพียงชนิดเดียวมีเพียง 23 คน (ร้อยละ 20.7) และผู้ใช้สารเสพติดส่วนใหญ่มีพฤติกรรมการใช้สารเสพติดหลายชนิดร่วมกัน 88 คน (ร้อยละ 79.3) จำแนกเป็นใช้สารเสพติดสองชนิดร่วมกัน 76 คน (ร้อยละ 68.5) และใช้สารเสพติดสามชนิดร่วมกัน …

การบริหารจัดการงานบำรุงรักษาอัจฉริยะสำหรับโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมระบบอัตโนมัติโดยใช้กระบวนการการค้นหาในปริภูมิสถานะ (กรณีศึกษา โรงงานผลิตสายไฟ), ณัฐวรรณ ทองแต้ม

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาต้นแบบระบบการบริหารจัดการงานบำรุงรักษาอัจฉริยะ (Intelligent Maintenance System:IMS) สำหรับโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมระบบอัตโนมัติ โดยประยุกต์กระบวนการค้นหาในปริภูมิสถานะ (State Space Search) เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการวางแผนบำรุงรักษา งานวิจัยใช้กรณีศึกษาจากโรงงานผลิตสายไฟฟ้าในประเทศไทย ซึ่งมีเครื่องจักรอัตโนมัติมากกว่า 20 เครื่องและอะไหล่มากกว่า 3,000 รายการต่อเครื่องจักร ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยใช้แนวทางแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed-method) ด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและการสำรวจเชิงปริมาณเพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการยอมรับระบบการบริหารจัดการงานบำรุงรักษาอัจฉริยะตามกรอบแนวคิดแบบจำลองการยอมรับเทคโนโลยี (Technology Acceptance Model: TAM) และการประเมินความเป็นไปได้ทางธุรกิจด้วยกรอบ (Business Model Canvas:BMC) พร้อมทั้งพัฒนาโปรแกรมต้นแบบด้วยภาษา Python เพื่อจำลองการวางแผนการบำรุงรักษาอัจฉริยะด้วยการทดสอบทั้งอัลกอริทึมการค้นหาแบบไม่รู้ข้อมูล (Uninformed Search) และแบบรู้ข้อมูล (Informed Search) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพในการค้นหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่าการประยุกต์ใช้การค้นหาในปริภูมิสถานะสามารถระบุช่วงเวลาบำรุงรักษาที่เหมาะสม โดยพิจารณาจากต้นทุนการบำรุงรักษา อายุคงเหลือของอะไหล่ และค่าความเสี่ยง อีกทั้งระบบยังสามารถจำลองสถานการณ์บำรุงรักษาในเดือนที่กำหนด งบประมาณต่อเดือน ปรับเปลียนอายุการใช้งานคงเหลือของอะไหล่ รวมถึงจำลองการชำรุดของอะไหล่เพื่อให้การวางแผนบำรุงรักษามีประสิทธิภาพสูงกว่าวิธีการบำรุงรักษาตามรอบแบบเดิม ข้อเสนอจากการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพในการพัฒนาระบบการบริหารจัดการงานบำรุงรักษาอัจฉริยะเพื่อใช้งานเชิงพาณิชย์ และต่อยอดสู่กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมอื่น ตลอดจนการพัฒนาอัลกอริทึมขั้นสูงเพิ่มเติมเพื่อเพิ่มความฉลาดของระบบให้สอดคล้องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของเทคโนโลยีและอุตสาหกรรมในอนาคต

ผลของการฝึกการเพ่งความตั้งใจที่มีต่อความสามารถในการเคลื่อนที่เปลี่ยนทิศทางทางด้านข้าง ในนักกีฬารักบี้ฟุตบอลเพศหญิง, เอนด้า อลีนา ปรียอซูซีลอ

การวิจัยเชิงทดลองฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลฉับพลันของ การเพ่งความตั้งใจแบบภายใน (internal focus) และการเพ่งความตั้งใจแบบภายนอก (external focus) ที่มีต่อความสามารถในการเคลื่อนที่เปลี่ยนทิศทางทางด้านข้าง (Side-step cutting: SSC) ตัวแปรทางชีวกลศาสตร์ และความเสี่ยงต่อการบาดเจ็บของเอ็นไขว้หน้าหัวเข่า (cutting Movement Assessment Score: CMAS) ในกลุ่มนักกีฬารักบี้ฟุตบอลเพศหญิง จำนวน 13 คน อายุระหว่าง 18–24 ปี โดยให้ผู้เข้าร่วมทำการเคลื่อนที่เปลี่ยนทิศทางด้วยขาข้างถนัดและขาข้างที่ไม่ถนัด ภายใต้เงื่อนไขการเพ่งความตั้งใจแบบภายใน การเพ่งความตั้งใจแบบภายนอก และเงื่อนไขควบคุม ใช้รูปแบบการถ่วงดุลลำดับ (counterbalance design) เพื่อกำหนดลำดับเงื่อนไขการทดสอบ โดยเว้นระยะห่าง 7 วันระหว่างแต่ละครั้ง วิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างทางสถิติของค่าเฉลี่ยของความสามารถในการเคลื่อนที่เปลี่ยนทิศทางชีวกลศาสตร์การเคลื่อนที่เปลี่ยนทิศทาง และความเสี่ยงในการเกิดการบาดเจ็บของเอ็นไขว้หน้าหัวเข่า ด้วยสถิติ paired-sample t-test และ one-way ANOVA with repeated measures ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้เข้าร่วมงานวิจัยสามารถเพ่งความตั้งใจไปยังตำแหน่งที่กำหนดได้อย่างถูกต้องตามเงื่อนไขการเพ่งความตั้งใจที่ได้รับ อย่างไรก็ตาม ไม่พบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติของระยะทาง ความเร็ว และตัวแปรทาง ชีวกลศาสตร์ภายใต้เงื่อนไขการเพ่งความตั้งใจที่ต่างกัน ส่วนคะแนน CMAS ของขาข้างที่ไม่ถนัดภายใต้การเพ่งความตั้งใจแบบภายนอก (3.25±1.15) มีค่าต่ำที่สุด (p = 0.07) แสดงถึงคุณภาพการเคลื่อนไหวที่ดีและความเสี่ยงต่อการบาดเจ็บที่ลดลงสรุปผลการวิจัย การเพ่งความตั้งใจแบบภายนอกแม้ไม่ส่งผลต่อผลลัพธ์ด้านความสามารถในการเคลื่อนที่เปลี่ยนทิศทางและตัวแปรทางชีวกลศาสตร์โดยรวม แต่แสดงแนวโน้มที่ช่วยให้คุณภาพการเคลื่อนไหวของขาข้างที่ไม่ถนัดดีขึ้น โดยสะท้อนผ่านคะแนน CMAS ที่ต่ำกว่าเมื่อเทียบกับเงื่อนไขอื่น ชี้ให้เห็นว่าคำชี้แจงการเพ่งความตั้งใจแบบภายนอกอาจมีศักยภาพในการพัฒนารูปแบบการเคลื่อนไหวในขาข้างที่ไม่ถนัด ทั้งนี้ควรมีการศึกษาเพิ่มเติมด้วยการเพิ่มขนาดของกลุ่มตัวอย่างและศึกษาผลของการเพ่งความตั้งใจในระยะยาวเพื่อยืนยันผลลัพธ์ของการใช้คำชี้แจงการเพ่งความตั้งใจ

Semiconductor-based gas sensors frequently encounter difficulties in attaining optimal performance due to challenges such as temporal stability and low sensitivity, stemming from their insulating properties at room temperature. To address these limitations, this study proposes a novel approach by preparing cobalt-doped LaFeO3 (LaFeO3-Co) using the co-precipitation method, with doping concentrations of 2.5 mol% and 5.0 mol%. The acetone gas sensors were fabricated into thick films via the screen-printing technique, and their performance was thoroughly characterized. This research deals with enhancing the visible activity and generating the magnetic property of TiO2 by Fe doping and Fe3O4 impregnation respectively, using rusty iron waste as Fe source. The prepared TiO2-Fe/Fe3O4 photocatalysts were characterized by SR-UV/Visible, FTIR, XRD, and SEM-EDX instruments. The resulting photocatalysts are responsive to visible light and can be separated magnetically and used for photoreduction of Cr (VI) ions. The emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 variant XBB.1.5 has triggered a global health crisis by enhancing viral entry into cells via its spike protein. This study addresses the urgent need to develop neutralizing nanobodies (Nbs) to counteract the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Our aim was to identify a lead Nb and enhance its binding affinity to the receptor-binding motif (RBM) on the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein (S-protein) using computational methods. Environmental contamination by synthetic dyes, particularly Methylene Blue (MB), presents a significant threat to aquatic ecosystems and human health due to their chemical stability and toxicity. This study investigates the photocatalytic degradation of MB using a BaMnO3:ZrO2 composite synthesized in a 1:2 ratio via a straightforward wet-chemical method. Structural and optical characterizations were performed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-DRS). The composite exhibited a reduced bandgap of 2.88 eV and uniform nanoscale morphology, both favorable for visible-light-driven photocatalysis. This study examined PLA biocomposite films made from organosolv lignin extracted from Thai agro-waste, specifically sugarcane bagasse (BG), to assess their suitability for food packaging, focusing on their physical, thermal, optical, UV-shielding, antioxidant, and migration properties. Extracted BG-lignin exhibited free radical scavenging ability with an EC50 value of 400 µg/ml, reducing DPPH absorbance by 50%. PLA composite films with BG-lignin dosage from 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% were successfully fabricated via conventional blown film extrusion. Addition of BG-lignin at 0.5 wt.% and 1.0 wt.% to PLA films decreased UV transmittance from 90% to 30% and 12%, respectively, without compromising optical clarity. …

Hypothesis:  Some types of cleaning methods are not very effective and can actually increase damage to the optical parts being cleaned. As an alternative to these methods, we propose the use of gel-like substances to remove contaminants from optical surfaces. We have developed a method for cleaning optical glass surfaces that uses organogels, which are based on copolymers of methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid. This research focuses on enhancing the value of coffee waste by converting it into activated carbon for removing Pb²⁺ ions from contaminated water. Coffee grounds were activated with KOH and carbonized at 600°C for 4 h to produce activated carbon (CGAC), then modified with arginine via hydrothermal treatment at 120°C for 48 h to create Arg-CGAC. The adsorbents' chemical and physical properties were analyzed using SEM, FT-IR, BET, and pHpzc methods. Batch experiments revealed that Arg-CGAC exhibited superior Pb2+ adsorption (223.10 mg∙g‒1) compared to CGAC (119.23 mg∙g‒1) under optimal conditions. This study proposes a hydrometallurgical approach to valorising industrial waste by producing SnO2 nanoparticles (NPs) from waste solder dross obtained by skimming off of tin solder baths from electronic dipping processes. The process involves leaching the dross with aqueous hydrochloric acid solution and hydrogen peroxide, followed by precipitation with ammonium hydroxide and purification with aqueous nitric acid solution. The optimised leaching conditions were determined to be 4 mol∙ L‒1 HCl, 11% v/v H2O2, 25℃, and a leaching time of 15 min. This investigation examines the potential of thiourea dioxide as an environmentally reducing agent for dyeing of natural indigo on modal fabrics. Although traditional sodium dithionite is effective, its sulfur by-products generate environmental concerns. Thiourea dioxide, which provides a more environmentally friendly alternative, was studied under various dyeing conditions. In this study, six dyeing parameters, including thiourea dioxide and sodium hydroxide concentrations, reduction temperature, reduction duration, dyeing time, and reduction-oxidation cycles, were optimized to enhance color strength. This article aims to examine the role of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution in literature, considering its influence on Victorian writers—particularly in the realist novels of Charles Dickens and George Eliot—and extending to the emergence of evolutionary literary theory in the 20th century.
