Marketing Plan For St. Vincent De Paul Society, Angela Hall

This project provides a marketing plan for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, located at St. Thomas More University Parish in Bowling Green, OH. The marketing plan examines the current nonprofit market in Bowling Green, Ohio, as well as donors preferences, the competition, and potential market growth. The second half of the project includes an analysis of the implementation of a social media focused marketing strategy for the pantry. A Facebook, Twitter, and blog was created to promote the organization.

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that increase and decrease the likelihood that students at Bowling Green State University will attend selected athletics events. Students were randomly selected to participate in a survey that featured the sports of football, hockey, volleyball, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball. It was concluded that the type of sport, free student admission, and the skill level of the opponent were to top factors that encouraged students at Bowling Green State University to attend athletic events while the time and date of the event, weather, and importance of the game were the …

The primary goal of this “creative form” project was to arrange a piece for my senior recital that would be entertaining as well as serve an educational purpose for all involved. In this case, the piece was Song of the Lonely Mountain, the music of which is featured in the modern film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey based off of the popular novel written by J.R.R. Tolkien. The number of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from bilingual families continues to increase. With 1 in 88 children receiving a diagnosis of being on the autism spectrum, it is important to expand upon current research. This present research study surveyed caregivers regarding their perceptions and experiences of raising a child on the autism spectrum in a bilingual language environment. Information on how families are counseled regarding bilingualism and language development in ASD is limited. This project examines the experiences of girls participating in martial arts, in order to shed light on the topic and provide an opportunity for girls to discuss their feelings and experiences. The project focuses on three major questions: Are younger girls gaining confidence and self-esteem from martial arts? Do they recognize these changes? How do they feel about their training in general?

Chaid Analysis Of Drug-Related Police Corruption Arrests, Philip M. Stinson, John Liederbach, Steven L. Brewer, Hans Schmalzried, Brooke E. Mathna, Krista L. Long

Criminal Justice Faculty Publications

Purpose- The purpose of the study is to provide empirical data on cases of drug-related police corruption. The study identifies and describes incidents in which police officers were arrested for criminal offenses associated with drug-related corruption.

Design/methodology/approach- The study is a quantitative content analysis of news articles identified through the Google News search engine using 48 automated Google Alerts queries. Statistical analyses include classification trees to examine casual pathways between drugs and corruption.

Findings- Data are analyzed on 221 drug-related arrest cases of officers employed by police agencies throughout the United States. Findings show that drug-related corruption involves a wide …
