Rome In Rome No. 1
ATS Digital Resources
This pamphlet was written about a famous idol of modern Rome: a carved wooden doll "richly clothed and covered with jewels, meant to represent the infant Jesus" called "the most holy Babe." The Roman citizen who wrote this wants Americans to have a clear, full, and authentic statement of what is believed and done in Rome about this doll giving its history, an account of its worship, and of the miracles ascribed to it as found in a pamphlet published by the Franciscan keepers of the holy doll, in 1875, under this title; Notizie storiche della miracolosa immagine del Santo …
Rome In Rome No. 7
ATS Digital Resources
The brief of Leo XIII., issued July, 1886, proclaiming the doctrines of the Jesuits "'wholesome and solid,' while all the world knows that the Jesuits teach doctrines which Clement XIV. himself called 'scandalous and immoral.'"
Rome In Rome No. 5
ATS Digital Resources
This pamphlet expounds upon a comparison of Leo XIII's brief of 1886 with Clement XIV's brief of 1773 in light of the Jesuits and Papal authority.
Rome In Rome No. 4
ATS Digital Resources
"The list of all the relics the priests of Rome pretend to possess would fill a volume. We shall confine ourselves here to those which they pretend to have been connected with St. Peter, and which they show as proofs that Peter lived and died in Rome as a pope. There is no positive proof in Christian antiquity that Peter ever came to Rome; but it is of no importance at all to know exactly whether he came here or not."
Rome In Rome No. 6
ATS Digital Resources
This pamphlet references "The brief issued, July, 1886, by Leo XIII., restoring to the Jesuits all the privileges which the brief of Clement XIV. had abolished, together with the society itself" and discusses the privileges of the Society of Jesuits which have been in some measure kept secret by the Jesuits, based upon possession a copy of their 'Compendium privilegiorum et gratiarum Societatis Jesu' published in 158 AD in Rome, for their private use.
Pay Your Debts, Rev Philip S Moxom
Pay Your Debts, Rev Philip S Moxom
ATS Digital Resources
Debt is duty, and laws do not make or unmake duty. They simply define duty, and often do that very imperfectly. What you owe to another that other has a right to have; for obligations 'on one side involve correspondent rights on the other. Abridged from a sermon published in "The Standard."
Pastoral Evangelism, Rev Sa Keen
Pastoral Evangelism, Rev Sa Keen
ATS Digital Resources
The sphere of pastoral evangelism is threefold: (1) the conversion of sinners; (2) the promotion of holiness as a definite blessing; (3) the transformation of individual chnrches into evangelistic forces by the ordinary resources and appliances of the pastorate. In this tract I speak only of PASTORAL EVANGELISM IN THE CONVERSION OF SINNERS.
Out Of Line
ATS Digital Resources
This great detachment of the moving column of humanity has separated itself from the m, ain body, has deserted the standat'ds that ill every age have led the upward struggle toward righteousness, love, and the victories of truth. The non-church-goers are out of line with the noblest life of the past; they have broken ranks with the loftiest souls iii history; they have Meparated themselves from. the historic development of humanity.
Our Brother In Black, J. C W Dd Coxe
Our Brother In Black, J. C W Dd Coxe

My theme recognizes two great facts of profound meaning: 1. The unity of the human race; 2. The diversity of the race, The latter is obvious and universally recognized; the former is usually ignored or denied. Yet both are among God's arguments, and neither indifference nor denial can invalidate a fact. That "God has made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the earth," is not merely an affirmation of Scripture; the record is confirmed by all lines of human research.
The Rum Railroad, Rev E F Remington
The Rum Railroad, Rev E F Remington
ATS Digital Resources
The Rum Railroad is continental. It extends, with its numerous branch roads, from the rivers to the ends of the earth. It has ten thousand thousand stations, but the trains all run to one terminus-the gate of hell. It is broad-gauge - not one rod is narrow-gauge - and it is a down grade all the way. The road-bed is laid in a concrete of blood and tears.

Testimony Of Jesus Christ To His Own Deity
Testimony Of Jesus Christ To His Own Deity
ATS Digital Resources
It is sometimes asserted that in Jesus Christ's own words, transmitted to us in the New Testament, no evidence can be found that he claims to be Divine. To prove the contrary of this assertion is the object of this tract. The words quoted to establish the point in view will be only those which are recorded by the chosen friends and faithful followers of Jesus Christ, as coming from his lips while he walked and talked with men on earth.
The Missionary Call, Rev J M Thoburn
The Missionary Call, Rev J M Thoburn

...every missionary sorely needs the sustaining power of a supreme conviction that he is called of God to the work in which he is engaged. The call of Moses was more sublime than that of Elisha, but not more real. It matters not how God may speak to those whom he would make his messengers, but the messenger ought to be sure that he is sent of God, and that,he goes forth authorized to speak for Jehovah.
The Christian Social Ideal
ATS Digital Resources
"What would society be if all men were Christians modeled after their unexcelled pattern, the man Christ Jesus? ... The conception of the world "With Christ's great law upon its browlet bound" is so surpassingly grand as to seem an impossible ideal, to be desired yet not to be reasonably hoped for. But to the man of faith both its possibility and the certainty of its becoming a sublime reality are assured." From "The Northern Christian Advocate."

The Slavery Of Rum, Rev E F Remington

...the appetite for strong drink is an unruly evil, a world of iniquity, and is set on fire of hell. For the strongest bonds that bind men together, the bonds of matrimony, the ties of filial, parental, fraternal, and maternal love, are sundered by it, as flax before the fire.
