Humanity, Ai, And The Pedagogy Of Vince Gilligan’S Pluribus, J. Scarlett Kingsley
Humanity, Ai, And The Pedagogy Of Vince Gilligan’S Pluribus, J. Scarlett Kingsley
Dialogue: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Popular Culture and Pedagogy
This review discusses the tv show Pluribus as a contemporary television narrative that functions as an allegory for artificial intelligence and its implications for human meaning-making. Centering on Carol Sturka, one of thirteen individuals immune to a alien global virus that merges humanity into a cooperative “Hive Mind”, the series explores tensions between autonomy and collective well-being in a “peaceful apocalypse.” The analysis argues that the Hive Mind reflects key concerns surrounding AI, including the production of knowledge without understanding, personalization without discernment, and efficiency that bypasses the struggle through which meaning is formed. Drawing on John Searle’s distinction between …

A Multi-Stage Low-Voltage Electromagnetic Compatibility (Emc) Filter Topology For Powertrain Inverters
Defensive Publications Series
A multi-stage low-voltage (LV) electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filter topology independently suppresses common-mode (CM) and differential-mode (DM) high-frequency noise in automotive e-powertrain inverters. The circuit implements structural staging combined with damping resistors to enable frequency-specific noise attenuation. By partitioning the filter into three distinct DM stages and two distinct CM stages, the architecture allows precise, independent tuning across low, middle, and high-frequency spectrums without causing negative resonance or affecting adjacent bands.

Advanced Control Method For Magnetic Bearings In High-Speed Shaft Systems
Advanced Control Method For Magnetic Bearings In High-Speed Shaft Systems
Defensive Publications Series
Active magnetic bearing (AMB) systems applied in high-speed turbomachinery and compressors are subject to severe internal and external dynamic forces that induce structural resonances and vibrations. Standard state-feedback approaches rely heavily on high plant model fidelity and require extensive calibration time, while remaining vulnerable to model-mismatch state disturbances caused by in-controller parameter uncertainties. This proposed solution discloses an advanced control method that integrates an Input Disturbance Observer (IDO) methodology with an Iterated Linear-Quadratic (ILQ) state-feedback controller. The framework dynamically estimates and counteracts external loads and model-mismatch discrepancies directly within the magnetic bearing force domain. This design eliminates the need for …
Profile Detection For Seat Adjustment, Anonymous
Profile Detection For Seat Adjustment, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
This invention fixes a memory seat issue that occurs when a key fob (or Phone As Key) is shared among users. Normally, the seat auto-adjusts to a saved position linked to the key fob, but if a different-sized person uses it, the seat still moves incorrectly, causing discomfort. The invention detects this occupant mismatch by using the driver facing camera and prevents unwanted repositioning.

Conventional Medicine, Industry, And Homoeopathy: Between Scientific Paradigms, Economic Interests, And Structural Prejudices, Jozelio F. De Carvalho
Indian Journal of Research in Homoeopathy
This article discusses the key epistemological, economic, and structural factors that contribute to the marginalisation of Homoeopathy within contemporary biomedical science. This integrates information from scientific literature, policy discussions, and historical sources addressing evidence hierarchies, trial design, funding patterns, and institutional determinants of scientific legitimacy in medicine. Examples from systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials, pragmatic studies, and N-of-1 research frameworks are considered to contextualise how methodological models may favour or disadvantage specific therapeutic paradigms. Homoeopathy remains a contested field not only due to conflicting results in clinical studies, but also because classical randomised trial designs may fail to adequately capture …

Study The Effects Of Nuclear Correlations And Tensor Forces On The Nuclear Structure Of The 10B Nucleus, Farah Faris Kaddoori
Study The Effects Of Nuclear Correlations And Tensor Forces On The Nuclear Structure Of The 10B Nucleus, Farah Faris Kaddoori
Baghdad Science Journal
A detailed theoretical investigation of nuclear transition charge densities is carried out for the odd–odd nucleus 10B, with particular emphasis on collective dynamics and short-range nucleon–nucleon correlations. Longitudinal C2 form factors for inelastic electron scattering are evaluated for several excited nuclear states. The transition charge density is expressed as a superposition of the shell-model contribution and a core-polarization term arising from collective nuclear dynamics. The latter is evaluated within the Tassie collective model using correlated ground-state two-body charge-density distributions (2BCDDs). These correlated densities are derived using the nuclear contact formalism, incorporating short-range central correlations and tensor-force effects from realistic …
