Examining The Nexus Of Economic Complexity With Energy Transition And Environmental Sustainability: A Systematic Literature Review, Neharika Singh, Meenakshi Gupta
Journal of Environmental Science and Sustainable Development
Economic complexity captures the diversity and sophistication of productive knowledge and capabilities embedded in an economy. Research on the relationship between economic complexity, energy transition, and environmental quality is growing rapidly. However, their findings differ across countries, development levels, and different energy and environmental indicators. As a result, the conditions under which economic complexity contributes to energy transition and environmental sustainability remain unclear across different contexts. To address this gap, this study conducts a systematic literature review following PRISMA guidelines and applies the Theory–Context–Characteristics–Methodology (TCCM) framework to synthesize evidence on economic complexity, energy transition, and environmental sustainability. The studies were …

Assessing Spanish-Speaking Latinas' Perceptions Of Postpartum Education On Maternal Warning Signs, Lucero Rocha-Dela Cruz, Natalia Villegas Rodriguez
International Nursing Research Congress (INRC)
Introduction: Pregnancy-related deaths remain a significant public health concern in the US, with approximately 78% occuring during the postpartum period. Latinx birthing individuals may face increased risk of postpartum complications due to barriers in accessing postpartum education that is culturally and linguistically appropriate. Little is known about education on maternal warning signs received among Latinx birthing individuals in the postpartum period. Patient education can reduce pregnancy-related deaths associated with postpartum complications. The purpose of this study was to assess perceptions of postpartum education, with a focus on maternal warning signs, among Spanish-speaking Latinx birthing individuals.
Methods: This quantitative descriptive study …

Tpb-Rivmhs: Theory-Based Scale Of Refugees’ Intentions For Virtual Mental Health Screening, Rami S. Elshalabi, Dana Hansen
International Nursing Research Congress (INRC)
Background / Problem Statement: Refugees experience disproportionately high rates of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety due to trauma exposure and post-migration stressors (Hynie et al., 2023). Virtual mental health services have the potential to reduce structural barriers, yet participation in virtual screening remains limited among refugee populations (Mohamud et al., 2024). Language barriers, stigma, cultural beliefs, privacy concerns, and limited digital literacy collectively influence help-seeking behaviors and restrict engagement with virtual mental health platforms (Ekeleme et al., 2024; MacPherson, 2023). Structural factors such as internet access and affordability continue to constrain utilization (Matlin et al., 2024). Despite these barriers, …
Fostering Translational Nursing Research Through Academic-Health System Partnerships, Monique Bouvier, Sharon Sonenblum
Fostering Translational Nursing Research Through Academic-Health System Partnerships, Monique Bouvier, Sharon Sonenblum
International Nursing Research Congress (INRC)
Nursing research often presents a disconnect between academic inquiry and the immediate needs of frontline clinical practice. Funding cycles can delay addressing emergent patient care challenges, and academically driven research questions may not always yield direct, value-added solutions for nursing workflows. To mitigate this gap, we initiated a novel program designed to foster collaboration between academic researchers and frontline clinical staff, facilitated by a clinically-based nurse scientist.
This initiative strategically brings academics to the point of care to gain firsthand insights into pressing clinical problems, and conversely, convenes clinical experts with academic counterparts to articulate real-world research priorities. This collaborative …

Defensive Publications Series
A system and method are disclosed for restoring and maintaining client-side conversion measurement parameters during app-to-web user navigation journeys across mobile software applications. When a user selects an item or link within a publisher native application that opens a destination web page within an embedded web view container, campaign measurement identifiers and source attributes are intercepted and temporarily stored at the application level. An asynchronous handshake protocol is established between an embedded client-side web measurement script executing on the destination web page and an application-level message handler. Upon receiving a readiness signal from the client-side script, the native application evaluates …
Fault-Tolerant Concurrent Data Retrieval And Processing Engine Using Acyclic Dependency Graphs, Davide Cazzin, Valentin Mercier
Fault-Tolerant Concurrent Data Retrieval And Processing Engine Using Acyclic Dependency Graphs, Davide Cazzin, Valentin Mercier
Defensive Publications Series
A lightweight, embedded computational graph engine provides fault-tolerant, concurrent data retrieval and processing across heterogeneous data backends. Operational tasks and data pipelines are modeled as execution nodes organized within a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). Programmatically defined task dependencies are dynamically resolved using topological sorting, allowing independent nodes to execute concurrently via a thread pool executor. Data payloads, represented as state mappings, are transferred between completing nodes and downstream dependent nodes to facilitate automated aggregation, joining, and transformation. Granular fault tolerance is achieved by classifying execution nodes as either critical or non-critical. When a non-critical node fails, the failure is caught, …
Hardware-Enforced Raw Sensing Data Zeroization And Host-Verifiable Privacy Breakpoint, Hp Inc
Hardware-Enforced Raw Sensing Data Zeroization And Host-Verifiable Privacy Breakpoint, Hp Inc
Defensive Publications Series
Modern AI PCs increasingly rely on cameras and microphones to provide contextual intelligence such as presence detection, occupancy estimation, and environmental awareness. However, conventional sensing architectures often expose raw image and audio data to the host operating system, creating privacy and security risks. This article presents a hardware-enforced privacy breakpoint architecture that keeps raw sensing data within an edge sensing module. The module performs local feature extraction, generates de-identified structured outputs, and subsequently erases raw sensing buffers through a dedicated hardware zeroization mechanism. A hardware verification circuit confirms successful memory sanitization before a protected interface releases feature data to the …

Pre-Commit Conflict Detection And Coordinated Rebase For Optimistic Concurrency In Distributed Microservice Transactions, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
An orchestrator supports optimistic concurrency control across a distributed microservice system in which each service owns its own datastore. The orchestrator has a master broker at the source of a transaction and a broker agent on each participating service. The master broker indicates to the agents that a transaction uses optimistic concurrency. Each agent, on committing any transaction, records the changed data nodes into the context of any active optimistic transaction and merges them with data nodes already tracked, deferring abort because staging may later expand the transaction. Before commit, a detect phase invoked at every agent intersects the tracked …
Vertical Power Delivery Inductor Structure With Copper Ground-Return Path For Crosstalk And Thermal Management, N/A
Defensive Publications Series
A vertical power delivery structure supplies power for high-current-density applications, such as accelerator application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). The inductor structure within the vertical power delivery structure uses a four-phase trans-inductor voltage regulation (TLVR) inductor that is physically separated into two distinct two-phase inductor halves. A solid copper structure fills the gap between these two halves, mechanically bonding them into a single, free-standing component. The copper filler electrically shields the inductor halves from each other, reducing crosstalk when the two halves are assigned to different power rails. The filler also provides a direct ground-return path for the power stage and forms …
