In 2018 we were awarded a small grant to gather and assess student feedback regarding an accessible technology room in the library. Survey and student focus group data provided guidance for a number of physical and technology-related changes that were subsequently applied to the accessible technology room. In 2019 we were awarded another small grant to collect additional student feedback to help us evaluate the success of those upgrades and to help us determine what additional changes might be needed to make this space an optimally active and accessible research …

In 2018, the world was shaken by the fast rise of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that use a decentralized, blockchain technology for payment transfers outside of the traditional banking system. The potential impact this alternative form of banking could have in the medium and long term on the over 2 billion people globally unbanked is tremendous. Additionally, blockchain itself is being used for value transfer combined with bio and genetic tagging technologies in refugee camps for example, bringing to rise a new era where technology for development is disrupting education, healthcare and security programs globally.

This presentation demonstrates the wide variety of publicly accessible U.S. Government national security information resources. It includes information on the U.S. constitutional foundations of national security policy, a recent annual defense spending bill, documents from the White House/National Security Council, Department of Defense, various military branches including professional military educational institutions, assorted U.S. intelligence agencies, congressional legislation, congressional committee reports on legislation, congressional committee hearings, and reports from congressional support agencies such as the Congressional Budget Office. It concludes by stressing the multiple benefits provided by having public access to these information resources.

Abstract
Objective: This is a quality improvement project aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational training initiative on hand-hygiene (HH) for health care providers in women's health department to identify learning needs, behaviors, and attitudes.
Design: A descriptive, prospective, longitudinal design, using baseline data collection points before the web-based intervention was introduced (time 0), immediately after the web-based intervention completion (time 1), one to six weeks after completion of the intervention (time 2).
Setting: A Chicagoland area tertiary care hospital.
