The primary purpose of this qualitative improvement project was to increase frequency of photos by bedside staff leading to a picture-perfect view and a story of the patient’s skin. Additionally, the purpose included:

• Decrease HAPI rate in STICU
• Develop Higher Standard of Care r/t Skin
• Educate patients and families on importance of skin r/t illness while hospitalized

Population Health is a department within Parkview Health that uses care coordination services to improve patient outcomes, quality care, and patient satisfaction while reducing overall healthcare costs.

Poetic Portraits Of Older Women In The Great Black Swamp, Sandra L. Faulkner

Dr. Faulkner discusses the importance of oral histories and listening to older women by presenting poetic portraits of older women in the Bowling Green area that she co-created from oral histories. This was a collaborative project with The Wood County Committee on Aging, the BGSU archives, and local women Faulkner interviewed about their experiences across their life course and contributions to our community. These poetic portraits and oral histories will be archived at the BGSU libraries for all of us to learn from.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI trained on Large Language Models to generate text) has exploded into the digital learning space. As the need for Open Educational Resources (OER) also continues to grow, generative AI can jumpstart aspects of OER creation. This presentation will consider barriers to OER adoption, including the availability of supplemental teaching resources, and will propose a use case for leveraging AI text-generation to support best practices for creating unique assessment questions. Through the “5-Ps,” – Problem, Past, Present, Possibilities, and Product – we will consider the ways that adopters, adapters, and authors of OER can use generative AI …
